Just thought id start a thread for all the 2nd round games.

Oslo Berserkers(6) @ Reykjavík Aggies(2)

Alpha Matchups
E-City Mercenaries(4) @ Woodridge Lumberjacks(1)
Lake Charles Who Dats(7) @ Valhalla Vikings(3)

This is definatly not the team I wanted to play at all in the playoffs...but we'll see what happens...if you go by the overall matchup, they are better in basically every stat...but I think this game will be won in the 4th.

yeah rohrheim was an obnoxiously tough match up... I also wouldnt want to be going up against oslo either. They are gonna be a tough game for anyone. and as far as alpha goes... i dont know much about them other than that the woojacks are basically gods and I dont know why the rest of the league is even bothering (from what ive gathered at least )

Being the first playoffs for the Vikings, it's safe to say we're nervous regardless of our opponent. Who Dats gave us a run for our money earlier in the season, but their convincing win over the Monarchs - a team that beat us earlier in the season definitely ups the ante. If the Vikings can win this, it'll be the final proof of how much we've grown since the first half of the season.

I wouldn't want to be playing Rohrheim either, their depth is outstanding.

Oslo took us into overtime last time we played them and I said it then.

Oslo is a great team. Should be another good game.

As far as Alpha, Woodridge continues to prove why they're undefeated this season. I don't think it's impossible for Woodridge to lose, but somebody is gonna have to play a hell of a game to beat em.

....i just took a peak at The stampedes complete roster...and wow...I didnt realize their depth was so damn good, and They had that many players over 16..Geez.....they have 39 players over 16, to our 17 players. Better hope our builds are good

I'm sure that jprietman and the Defense would consider that a huge compliment coming from a team that knows Defense.

I have been looking at the Scorgasms D game film and stats the last few days getting ready for the game, and your Defense is scary.

Turnovers were the key, jmo. Our Defense and FG kicker won that game.

if we get past oslo you won't make it to the finals.

yeah, this round is going to be brutal all around. alot of good team, as well as 'one on one' matches. going to be quite interesting in a day.
