If I set a MLB (Or any player for that matter) To take the HB and then his 2nd read would be the TE....Does he actually do that?

I have been hearing that this is not the case

It normally works. Just don't expect close coverage in most cases. You just have to fiddle with it and adjust accordingly after you view the results.
