How important is vision for a blocking TE? What would be considered average vision for that type of player at level 50?

Of the player builds that I've seen at that level, vision seems to be a little low (high 40s to mid 50s). Is that a sacrifice you have to make for that type of player...or is it just enough to get by...or would a blocking TE really benefit from having 70+ vision?

60+ is fine. Once it's 2nd capped and confidence is 1st capped, intense vision/confidence training isn't a bad option for endgame training.

By the end of the build, I might consider getting to the second cap. My blocking TE is at 27 now, with vision first-capped. I don't plan on putting any more SPs into it until agility is third-capped, speed is third-capped and I've got some SAs.

I would cap vision first, and then let the natural gains take you the rest of the way, It would be over 60 by level 30

Not to say it isn't important, but definitely not worthy of capping first.

Vision is the first thing every TE should train/cap if immediate success is not important, because of what dagwood said, the natural gains will take it 60 naturally when you level.

For a blocking TE, you're much better off going strength, and lots of it, right away. The natural level gains will benefit you much more there than in vision.

I'd agree. Yes, starting with vision will get you higher there in the long run. But I'd much rather have the extra points in strength/blocking than in vision. What's the difference performance wise between 55 and 60 vision at Level 50? I'd rather have 113 strength than 110 or 78 blocking instead of 75.

I triple-capped strength and blocking, then single-capped agility before heading to agility, and I wouldn't do it differently.

I would say go vision before agility just because agility gets absolutely atrocious natural level gains.

I did, actually, and just can't type correctly. My statement above actually made no sense. ... I single-capped vision before moving on to agility.
