Hey guys, below is my first attempt at making a safety, now hitting his early 40's. These are his NATURAL stats and I have 11 SP stored up waiting to be used. He has Adv EQ in 'Super Vision' (2) and 'Closing Speed' (4) with the custom gear in the hard hitting tree. He also has 15 in 'Ball Hawk' and 5 in 'zone specialist'. The idea behind his build was take advantage of the speed/agility gains from ball hawk/closing speed/zone specialst so that he can read and react VERY quickly. In my mind therefore it was important he had exceptional vision and the 'Super vision' complements this. I have not invested in ANY SAs beyond what my EQ provides thus far.

I have hit a bit of a snag though and really do not know where to go with my SP now. I am currently training stamina/confidence and will be looking at focusing on tackling via training as well. I am just not sure what on Earth to spend my glorius SP on. Push jumping higher? I am loathe to spend on tackling as I can't hit a cap with it.

So suggestions? Ideas? Opinions?

Get tackling to 50. Quit training stamina as at 32 it's high enough to just spend SP on. Especially when it'd be more worth it to train confidence, tackling, and catching.

No SA's? I'd go there once tackling is up to 50.

At this point since level gains aren't that huge like they are early on, i like waiting till my attributes are trained to 30 before boosting them with SP. In the mean time, you can spend some SP on SAs to kill time and improve current performance. It's better than using your SP on attributes in the low 20s and the level gains you'll miss will be negligible. As soon as an attribute you want to cap (like tackling) gets to 30, start saving SP and boost it.

Seem's like a reasonable idea, other than 'closing speed' and 'superior vision' what are worth investing into?

change direction is good. Getting swat ball to like 4 eventually is a smart idea. First step really isn't that great for a FS unless your team runs a ton of man defense for you (most FSs are in zone though). I like the hardhitter tree at least at 2 to help out a bit. Closing speed is definitely the best in that tree.

Change direction is the best FS SA imo. Has only one prereq too.
