I assume they don't reseed in GLB (ie..Fremont loses,Team Mwars becomes #1seed?) So are the brackets correct?

1-8 winner should play the 4-5 winner and 2-7 winner should play the 3-6 winner. The higher seed in each matchup should be the home team.

i think thats how its set up right? in the nfl the best remaining seed gets the lowest. no matter who or what team. i think he is just asking that.

it appears no re-seeding. 2 vs. 3 and 8 vs. 4 is how it is right now. which doesnt matter because all the teams left are hot as hell with the 8 seed winning the last 9 in a row

There is no reseeding.

It's just like the NFL playoffs.

the nfl does re-seed.... well they dont re-seed the numbers but an upset like this in the nfl would switch who goes where... hence in the nfl playoffs they say if so and so wins they go here, but if this team wins they go there....

but its cool. ncaa basketball doesnt re-seed. thats what this is like. march madness brackets...

I disagree, I think re-seeding is the dumbest idea ever. The NCAA March Madness don't re-seed and that's why you get all the cinderellas that make it to the sweet 16. Nova was a good example of this.

ok. is this a sweet 16 sim? did i miss something? and if memory serves me wasn't the steelers a 6 seed the year they won it all... ooooops.... they were...

Yeah and the Edmonton Oilers came within a game of doing it in the Stanley Cup Finals two years ago, I'm just saying that I hate re-seeding. I think it defeats the purpose of playing your best in say, an 82 game season like in the NHL, to get 4th and not 6th when it won't matter that much cause you re-seed every round. To me it defeats the points of ranking teams 3-6 in the NHL, and I could carry the same for seed 3-5 for the NFL.

Well, regardless I think with either system the best team usually wins it all.

typically you are right. the best team generally wins out. just pointing out that it isnt like the nfl... no biggie.....

Yeah, but in larger tournaments like say the NCAA one re-seeding would be stupid. Just a quick comparison of the two, that's all it was.
