It's 1:40 early Sunday morning and I'm seriously waiting for my clothes to get out of the dryer. Might as well kill some time:
-Philharmonic at PDB - Too many Paris teams to keep track of in Alpha, but the Bolts are clearly the best of the bunch with that sick defense. PDB 42, Philharmonic 10
-Portland at Bonn - O/U set at 500. Bonn 255, Portland 0
-Vols at Graz - We're all pulling for Jay, but when you lose 71-3 against a 3-8 team... well that's not good. Graz 55, Hattgenstein 17.
-Penguins at SRS - Speaking of which, look for this Paris team to keep that little bit of momentum. Most of the Penguins' losses have been fairly close. Paris 38, Rays 31.
-Perkis at Belfast - Perkis is coming off a couple losses to playoff teams, but their own playoff hopes are still very alive with a fairly soft schedule from hereon out. Team 35, Belfast 20.
-artic at WWW - This one might be closer than people would think, since artic has been improving a lot with all their new adds. WWW 34, artic 20.
-E-City at Turin - Hard to pick against a team that just knocked off Greenwood, but the Mercs just haven't shown any consistency this season to convince me of a repeat performance. Then again, Turin hasn't been any better. THUNDER 25, E-City 20.
Game of the Week:
-GAC at FFFD - Greenwood was looking like a top-4 team in conference after that Portland semi-merger and the 7-1 start. We all know by now that losses to Bonn don't count, but GAC also fell to E-City and didn't put up any fight against PDB. They'll get some of their steam back here if they can surprise a very steady and solid FFFD squad. Greenwood 31, FFFD 20.
