Sorry I couldn't wait till week 12 to see what BP had to say so I did a little thinking of my own.
The Elite of SEAPL Naga:
1. ESL - 10-1 Projected: 15-1
Even though they lost to PDD they will stay in the #1 slot of the rest of the season. Any more losses just come from the fact that they really have no reason to scout/gameplan/care. The 2 headed beast of dot and beav is sick and it should be exciting to see what they have planned for the playoffs. Those 2 plus their solid defense and just goofy ST and you got the best team in SEAPL.
2. PDD - 10-1 Projected: 14-2
In the beginning of the season a lot of people were questioning if they would make the Elite 3 into the Elite 4 and they definitely have done that. Take away that surprising blowout vs. Buddhists and this defense is by far #1 in the league. Their defense is just incredible and with TPat at control you know they will be showing up in the playoffs, hopefully showing something better than they have in the past. With the addition of J.D. Jackson their offense looks improved. And with their defense, it doesn't take much to secure a victory.
3. SM - 9-2 Projected: 14-2
Their only loses have come to the two teams ahead of them. Mack Slaughter has just been a complete beast this season. Everyone knows their offense starts with him, yet he is still putting up amazing stats. Factor in the 42 TDs to 4 INTs and hopefully its enough fire power to get them to the Championship. Defense has been a question but is looking a little better as of late.
4. BLPP - 8-3 Projected: 12-4
BLPP knows how to win when it matters, simple as that. I think they will take the rest of the season pretty lightly in hopes of being fully charged for the playoffs. With them moving down in S11 home field advantage means very little so why waste their time. I wouldn't be surprised if they lose to Oki or CMM but based on their roster & past they are definitely the last of the 4 elite teams in Naga.
Second Tier:
5. Buddhist - 8-3 Projected: 13-3
Their talked about offense has finally come alive now that their chemistry is complete. They toyed with PDD and then followed it up with a nice victory at BLPP. They are definitely the only 2nd tier team and pose the only threat to a non-top 4 winning Naga. With asheme manning the D-AI and all those speed WRs don't be surprised if they win R1.
Third Tier: A jumble of teams here and it should be interesting to see to ends up where.
6. Oki - 8-3 - Projected: 10-6
I never really know where to rank these guys. They look great when they beat down CMM early in the season but then got worked by SM and ESL. Factor in the loss to Garudas and the streaking Dart Frogs and land here. With Buddhist, PDD and BLPP left on the schedule they should be pumped if they finish any better than 10-5.
7. Dart Fogs - 5-6 - Projected: 8-8
Odd team out even after their victories over Oki and CMM. I think they are better than both of them but the earlier losses to Buffalo and Duluth sealed their fate. Looking forward to seeing what they got to offer in S11. A couple solid additions and they will be right there at Tier 2.
8. Winona - 6-5 - Projected: 10-6
I can't believe these guys are here but mad props for showing me wrong. Take away that bad strech vs BLPP, Oki and CMM and they could have even a better record. The loss to Duluth could be killer if they don't beat Dart Frogs but I have a feeling they will. They are playing for respect and the "rights" to post even more annoying shit on the forums so I expect them to gameplan more than they have all season.
9. CMM - 8-3 - Projected: 9-7
They had a great S9, but I just don't think they made enough additions to keep up with the rest of SEAPL. With SM, Buddhist, PDD and BLPP left on the schedule they will really need to gameplan to go any better than 1-4.
Honorable Mention:
Vanuata - Solid first year in the Pros and hopefully you guys will be back for S11 with a better chemistry.
Duluth - Every year I think, this is the year for Duluth to put it all together, but for whatever reason you guys just can't get over the playoff hump. Not sure if you will be back for S11 with that low chemistry and lack of S11 commitment but I sure as hell hope you will be.
SO although I think Dart Frogs have the 7th best roster they will not be making the playoffs in S10.
Round 1 will look a little something like this.
