Is strength a major part of distance kicking or is it kicking? Or is the game designed so people don't kick large % of 50+ yard field goals.

Yeah, making it 50+ isn't something that should be consistently happening, but i'd recommend vision for further FGs, not saying that will give you 50+ though.
