I just rolled a +2 agility and +1 monster hit, and a +1 vision and closing speed. The closing speed would be my second piece with that SA. This is a no brainer, cause I actually really like them both?

well id assume monster hit would work efficiently with more tackling and strength than typically a corner would have. but im not 100% sure. Closing speed only works when you get beat, id like to prevent from letting something up before i have to chase them down.

lvl20 cb? Two AEQ's already? Is this gonna replace an AEQ or will this make it 3 AEQs? If this is replacing an AEQ ie you'll be able to get it to max I'd say monster hit, if it's going to be a third aeq I'd say keep shopping and look for a +2 or 3 with an sa you have in your tree or a +5% or greater item (but not carry...).

or when forced to tackle somebody other than your man ie the uncovered fb in the flat, not that your cb would really stand a chance of bringing him down...

Monster hit, a great SA that you can't just add points to get on a CB. Taking down morale on WRs destroys them.

I disagree.
Plus, how often are you going to tackle the same WR in one game? 3 times AT MOST? How often is Monster Hit going to trigger out of those 3 times?
I don't think it offers a big enough morale hit, tbh.
I think its main use is for run-stoppers.

I wouldn't do it. I would focus on pass coverage S.A's. But I have thought about making a strong corner with monster hit. If you think about it, you can let the corner play off a bit and he would get a lot of tackles on a weak receiver. Possibly forcing a lot of fumbles in the process. I don't know how useful he would be though. still sounds interesting.

I have AEQ w/ Monster Hit at +3 on my CB. Most of the way through the season now, and I only remember seeing it activated a couple times.... I will be looking for new AEQ soon.

Don't waste your time with it, UD. One of the teams I'm on has been experimenting with pushing my coverage slider anywhere from .5 to 4 yards, while all the other CB's are on much closer settings than I am for the respective game. We haven't been able to funnel balls to my CB's man at all.

I'm not sure if you can do this with the D play creator, but try putting him alone on the wr. Part of the QB's progression involves the number of players around the wr. If you can double up the other wr(s), and cover your wr 1 on 1, it should funnel more passes that way.

If your on ST you can tackle the same person like 7 times
