Any ideas what the problem is?

My only theory is that AGI and SPE are too high so I actually overbreak on the ball.

Are you set on aggressive?
Do you have high jumping?

Interesting. I haven't seen guys on semi-aggressive jump the route that much before. Maybe it was just a long pass on lob, and that gave you time to overrun it.

Your theory on AGI and SPD is as good as any I've got right now.

Another possibility: deficient vision making the CB think he can deflect/intercept the ball? /Shrug

You just missed your int/pd check. CBs will still jump the route on semi, it just happens much less often. You could have failed a vision check in there and gone to the wrong spot, but you can't really tell from the pbp.

Pretty much what I think/guess...CB's like to jump the route when they know they can do so successfully where successfully means getting into a very good position for a PD or INT...that doesn't mean that the CB will end up with the PD or INT though...
