i have two corners almost built identically, one has slightly more confidence (2 pts) and the other has slightly more jumping (2 pts). the one with more jumping has more height (6'4'') and the one with more confidence is 6'2".

I noticed that my 6'2'' CB seems to be moving faster and doing alot better and they have almost identical builds. So has anyone come to the conclusion that 6'4'' is too tall for a CB?

Hmm. My 6'1" CB (lvl 56) performs better than my 6'4" CB (lvl 61), but I think in my case it was build strategy.

I hope taller CBs don't cut worse--my gut feeling is that they don't really--because it's the main thing I rolled for on my latest CB.

I think player weight would play more into it. Your shorter one is a heavy 197. Your taller one, although it's only four pounds of difference, is 201. 201 is the biggest a CB can get on here.

so when looking at physical traits its only weight? idk, id think that a 6'1'' CB could be more quick and agile than a 6'4'' because they are lower to the ground, weight does factor in i know.

i wonder if the sim takes into account things like coordination...i doubt it, but maybe. most guys who are 6'4" have less body control than guys 6'0", which is why most RL corners aren't 6'4"

But that would mean the sim wouldn't take into account guys like 6'4" Randy Moss and 6'3" Mel Blount.

I think I saw that weight plays a very minimal (negligible) role. I don't know what was said about height, though. I don't think it's something that you'd re-roll for if you were 6'4", 195 but rolled 4 8's and 18+ speed or whatever. Maybe it is.

taller = longer strides = faster imo
any thoughts here?

well if your going that way then taller = worse CD, worse agility, worse FS

Size definitely figures into speed and perhaps agility. Size is the most overlooked element of GLB, imo.

i think it does take those things into account. my CB is about 6'2" and does not do as well as another CB on my team who runs 5'11" who has a similar build. i had another CB (since retired) that was 6'0" and also consistently got better stats (INTs and PDs). again, very similar stats. i find it very frustrating as no matter how i play with the attributes, SAs, or VAs he is continuously under performing compared to his peers.

personally, i find this game less and less appealing due to it being way too similar to real life, meaning my player is limited upon creation no matter what i do he has a upper limit to his overall development which may be lower than another player even with identical builds. i play (and pay) since its should be fantasy. but who knows (except developers) its just my take on things...all i know is that i spend less time on here and i dont buy flex points anymore.

IMO a good CB shouldn't have stats.
The guy they cover should never be passed to.
I look for a good tackle/PD ratio. 1:1 or better is great.
