First off I have to state that I used to be on this team but was cut because I complained about my playing time.

Regardless I wanted to see what they were up to since my departure. They made the jump to USAPL and now are getting pounded. Was the OPL that over rated or has the WSI staff started slipping ? Just curious ...

I'm not bitter or anything but I will admit that I do have a slight smirk on my face right now ...

I think this is more of a case of how good USAPL is rather than how "bad" WSI is. Most of the bottom tier (5 wins or less) in USAPL will make the playoffs in other pro leagues; and the 8-8 teams will be 12 win teams challenging for the conference title in other pro leagues; the home playoff teams will be 15-1 or 16-0 teams and challenging the league title every season.

Take a look at USAPL West, it's pretty clear who the top 5 teams are. All five of these teams would be favored to win in most other pro league, here they are fighting to get that home playoff spot. And unfortunately for the other 11 teams, that's pretty much 5 automatic Ls. Shit, USAPL West schedule is tougher than most tournament schedule.

100% correct Daton. The first thing I look at in tourneys is what USA PRO teams we might have to face. Right now I would say USA PRO has 8 of the top 8 of the top 12 or 13 teams in GLB. Aside from Bonn, Drygerian, Santiago, WWR and Krazy I don't think anyone else in GLB would be fighting the top 5 in the west and the top 3 in the East for a conference title.

Personally, I think this has really been blown out of proportions. We lost two games we shouldn't have because of me doing OC work for the first time in 3 seasons...and if we won those two games, we'd be sitting at 5-3 and there wouldn't be all these questions.

I dunno. Lincoln has played WSI a handful of times in the past few seasons and I always felt like they were a great team. I can honestly say that I felt that way up until I watched some of their games this season. WSI has fallen off in a big way. There's more to it than entering USAPL.

WSI started falling off last year when they lost Havoc and Run Hard then losing the special teams unit after the season was another big blow.

Hmmm I don't know if it's only that. In the past when Lincoln played you guys, it was always really close. No way we would've put up 40+ on the old WSI. You guys just aren't he same this season. I honestly think the majority is due to the league, while losing Havoc, RUN HARD, special teams, etc makes up for the rest.
