He is on a Pro Team, hence the investment in Underdog, and is being utilised as a scat-back to take the pressure off the two primary backs and leave them to do the rushing, though he is being lined up as the replacement elusive back for next season when the current one retires.

He is having a little bit of trouble catching the ball 'in stride' at full speed; he seems to stop a lot to catch it and then speed back up once he has the ball, any ideas why he is doing that?

Bad throws maybe, sometimes the ball is thrown low or behind them and it looks like they stop.

Ok, thanks, I had a feeling it might be the catching, but I didn't think I needed that much to take a swing pass in the flats at full speed....How much would you guys consider to be good in the catching department?

No more than soft capped.

40+ should be fine imo.

and more carrying..and work on confidence..

If your HB is stopping to catch the ball then it's the pass not the build. If you drop a lot of passes then it would be the catching.

Sounds like the QB has neglected vision... his 11 tds and 10 ints suggest that as well. The QB might not be leading you the way he should imho
