Yes, they do, but it depends on the type of LB you make. A pass coverage LOLB doesn't need as much strength and all of that, but a runn stuffing MLB better. As for the wrapup setting, it says you make more tackles and make FEWER FF's, but not 'no' forced fumbles. That's why you ended up with only 2 last season.

how often do you miss tackles, and how many of those came without an SA from the HB like power thru etc?
