Rolled a piece of shutdown coverage and 3% break block. Its useful both ways (run and pass defense). He's being built more toward a hardhitter so the shutdown coverage would be nice equalizer in pass coverage. It would be better to have a PD or Tackle chance, but he will have a good amount of str and agility. Is the break block chance worth considering?

How would you weight that against 3 vision and 3-make tackle chance, 1 spd/supervision, or 3 vision/FS?

I always have been a fan of Speed and Superior Vision. But thats just me. Superior Vision is one of the hardest to come by for a Saftey, that is why I think it could be one of the best out there.

Why??? 1 is sufficent enough, since it is taking you 2x as long to see benefits from it. But maybe I am not seeing something, but thats just me.

Well I have to admit when you get a piece that is +2 Speed and +1 SV its hard to turn down. Currently I have 9 SV's and +8 speed from that piece, which= +8 Speed and +4 SV.

Shutdown coverage isn't that useful for FSs since most FSs are in zone on 95% of passing plays. Shutdown coverage only helps in man coverage. I have 2(3 with CE) just for the few times i do play it just to be safe.

I think break block can be useful but not for FSs who don't deal with blockers much. It can be useful for a SS and #2CB (both on strongside) to stop pitches and screens where normally you get a blocking WR or TE on you. Also good for SSs who b litz. Not as good for a FS though

That's interesting. I had swatball with +4 in it bringing my total to 8 and didn't see a huge difference from it being at 4 now. Only anecdotal though. I'm curious about raising it a bit on my own with SPs now.
