Last game my corner back Ba'al played I switched his custom and his equipment around from 100/70 to 90/80.

All it did was get him burned.

Thanks for listening.

Maybe 95/75?

I switch'd my EQ from 85/63 to 79/69. He improved a lot.

Then again, I can't really compare LV38s with LV17s.

Depends a lot on the WR matchup, QB skills and gameplan. Too small a sample to come to that conclusion.

Still fishy. He got burned for a 1 yard touchdown where I know more speed would have helped, and the other was about a 5 yarder, again speed would have helped. All this after never giving up a touchdown all season, and probably only 2 his whole career. Small sample or not I think Speed is better still.

Also there is no receiver within 5 levels either way built better than my corners.

I'm not sure where you get speed would have helped on your TDs.

TD 1: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=597788&pbp_id=6104361

Not speed. You'll notice that at around the 11 yard line your cb has trouble adjusting to the route. He does a little stutter step, then chases the wr. That is agility. First he has to adjust (it looks like he's changing from his back peddle to running alongside the wr), then he has to accelerate out of that change. You'll also notice that he makes to to the wr, but overruns him slightly, and can't cut back to stop the pass. That is also agility.

TD 2: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=597788&pbp_id=6107483

Not speed. Your cb is back peddling, sees the throw, and breaks on it, but can't change direction fast enough or accelerate fast enough to get to the wr and stop the pass. Once again, this is agility.

What are your change direction and shutdown coverage at?

It's pretty funny to me He never does that running with 100/70. you claim it's agility.

then when he goes to 90/80 (which is actually more agility in case you didn't notice) he does this.......

both cases if he was 100/70 playing aggressive he would have tried to jump the route and got the int or pd, which I have seen him do several times.

And what would higher speed do in either of those occasions? Both were poor reactions by your cb, not getting outrun. Maybe it's due to the fact that you played a better team than you have all season, and not due to your change in speed/agility?

Squirm

What the hell does that mean? You can't make an argument for why speed would help you there, so you respond with "squirm"? You have a sample of one game where you have higher agility, and you claim that it sucks because you sucked, but you don't take into account that the team you played was much better than yours, your DC got owned by their OC, and your morale was probably in the shitter for both of those plays, especially the second.

I would probably think it would be lack of CD and FS and Vision on all instances.
Plus -100 really sucks, unless you out level your opponent then you'll definitely smother him.
I've tried -50, -100, 0 and -75. The best one that worked so far against higher level opponents is -75.

-67 worked wondrously in my first game. but im with jdp. my guess is lack of vision and distance setting. not sure that its CD or FS though. im pretty sure UD is a big supporter of CD, so he probably has a decent amount in that. (unless this build doesnt have CD yet, in which case, thats probably the reason)

and for the record... i dont count a short reception of 5-7 yards as getting burned. thats allowing a completion. getting burned includes having the WR get way past you. if you are in tackling distance, thats not a burn. but yeah. my guess is vision. maybe even jumping.
