If you had a choice for either on a piece of AE, which would you choose and why?

One other point, it's for a HB.

Quick cut... spin is very difficult to trigger, and QC always works. Which back is it for? Bonk or Scoundrel? The higher level guy probably has enough to trigger spin, the other will get there soon. I still prefer QC for my guys, but they are both elusive builds.

i'm a fan of QC to like 5...after that the other SAs are more interesting.

Spin. My back has spun his way to a LOT of long gains and a LOT of TDs.

Spin is infinitely better IMO, if you have the build to use it. Obviously if your speed and agility are both only like 70, then quick cut is the way to go.

What are you saying it takes to make Spin Trigger?

here is a little something from the wiki on these SAs... spin at bottom
Quick Cut

Wide Receiver, Tight End, Fullback, Halfback, Quarterback

Gives the player the ability to change direction quickly without losing much speed. This skill is very important for quick players who rely on speed and agility to avoid tackles.
Additional Levels: The angle at which the player can make the cut increases, while the speed lost in making the cut decreases.
Head Fake

Wide Receiver, Halfback

The player will look one way and then move the other. This fake can be effective against defenders with low agility and vision, causing them to go the wrong way or freeze. This skill is important for all players who carry the ball a lot. Even an extra split second of reaction time can mean the difference between a tackle and a big gain.
Additional Levels: Increases the chance the defender will be fooled by the fake.
Spin

Wide Receiver, Halfback

The Spin ability allows the player to spin out of the way of a tackler. This skill relies on agility to perform successfully. This skill is not very effective if the player has low agility.
Additional Levels: Increases the chance of spinning successfully, and increases the bonus to avoiding tackles by spinning.

My lvl 26 HB has had spin trigger a few times and my attributes are not that high.

TO get consistent performance I guess that could be true.

Mine consistently fires and my strength is nowhere near that high, carrying is also under 60.

well I think since its a break tackle SA that strength/carry would help. Agility is clearly the most important in the equation though

Strength/carry are definitely very important to spinning successfully at high levels...

Carrying is 55, strength is 28 . Carrying was under 50 until this season.

Can any elusive with high strength/carrying say for sure that they've been spinning a lot more since getting strength up? It's never seemed to matter for me, but maybe he would spin even more if strength was higher. Seems to be hard to test though because even if there is a back with high strength/carrying that spins a lot, chances are that high strength was gradual, not a sudden dumping of points, and the spinning could likely be caused by an overall increase in build rather than strength alone.
Need a single control factor to sort this out.
