Right now at level 34 I have it capped. For the highest levels with no desire to chase QB's does he have enough. I just want him to man the gap.

60 will allow you to cover your own gap.
68 will allow to provide support to the right side and also off tackle, in addition to your own gap
Anything past 68 and you start to get into pass rusher territory.

the higher it gets, the better player he will be. I don't know why you'd want to put an artificial limit on speed for any player.

Well of course more is better. Would I love to have my NT have 80 speed? Sure. But you only have so many points to go around in your career and if your only role is to stop the run then there are better places to put points. 68 will accomplish what he's asking to accomplish. You start applying 4 for 1 and your role slowly starts changing. I'm not saying it doesn't change for the better, but for simply stopping people at or behind the line of scrimmage, dropping 4 levels worth of SP into speed to take it from 68 to 73 may not be as beneficial to him as using 4 levels to work up certain SA's or other attributes.

All is well until you play an o-Line with 70-80-90 strenght and high agility. Then the more speed you have the faster you get pancaked
