On this play I would like for him to follow the HB even though there is noone open to block.
I'm guessing this is due to lack of vision, here are his attributes...

Str: 62 (+13); Spd: 49; Agi: 53
Stm: 23; Vis: 14; Conf: 15
Blk: 54; Cry: 25

I should also add, I would like him to be a leadblocking back much similar to my other one

I can tell you Kramer's blocking is lower, strength higher; spd 2nd cap, confidence 12 higher and everything else comparable to E'twaun.

what do the masses think...? Is vision important for a leadblocking back? vision or confidence? more agility? thanks

oh boy, here goes, and this may get brutal

- you're probably blocking for a guy with like 70 speed and have 49 yourself, so he passes you on the first few ticks of the play
- As soon as the FB got outside the tackles he stopped to look at the DE (lack of vision to know not to stop) and couldn't start back up so quickly (lack of high agility)
- As soon as he started back up, he had no clue where to go because of low vision

Things to work on in your next levels

3rd cap strength for sure
3rd cap agility
2nd cap blocking
2nd cap vision
2nd cap confidence

train vis/conf up while you work on the first 3 things

switch your eq to speed so that you're in the 60-70 range and can stay out in front of the HB longer, otherwise you're useless to him

Listen to that. Definitely get the EQ in speed.

I Disagree with the blocking to second cap...strength is more important for run blocking..but all that is useless if you aren't fast enought to get out front...i prefer my FB's to be as fast as the HB's and they often are able to block a linemen or LB and then get off that block and go to a CB or Safety

I don't know very much about the training aspect, but on that play I didn't see that he did anything wrong. He covered the inside hole in case the WR got beat by the CB to the outside, so the HB had an inside cutback lane. He could have then thrown a block on the DE or LB, or even the FS if it got downfield that far.
