Note: Golfers and TxR and Bullets and OtR are tied. Golfers and Bullets have the tiebreaker, as they have the higher median.

1.67 ***Official*** Footballguys
*They are the champs. They have my vote for #1 until they get beat or until someone proves to me they are better.
*Respect the champs! Under new management, but have looked like the same old Footballguys. Picked up a hard-fought win against the Roughnecks Week 1, and showed the Buckeyes the ropes.
*My top five or so is pretty arbitrary, as they're all great teams and I can't predict how they'll compare against one another without more evidence. OFG's sked was a little weaker than MEM's, and they didn't look nearly as scary as the Shockers. Plus, my dot is still having flashbacks from that whitekuckle win over TxR.
*Until someone knocks the Cardiac Kids off of the mountain, they will stay at the top of this list.

2.17 Monmouth Evil Monkeys
*The Monkeys have stuffed two playoff caliber squads in back to back week and look to keep rolling into their biggest game of the season in week 5 when they host the Wolfpack
*Have beat 2 tough teams and have all the talent in the world but I couldn't justify putting them above Cincy due to how hot Cincy has came out.
*They have had a tough couple of games and came out not only with wins but convincing wins and made the first 2 games look like a cake walk. They would be at the 1 spot if they hadn't lost to *O* in the championship and preseason.

2.5 Cincinnati Shockers
*Hellion and the ex-Maulers (&Hazy!) have this group cruising along so far.
*They have come out on FIRE. Didn't play the best looking teams but the size of victories were too huge to put them lower.
*Have DOMINATED. Too bad it's been against new teams that I'm unsure of as far as talent. That is why they aren't #1 for me.
*I think these guys are the co-favorites to win the East along with OFG after the Gamblers and Maulers folded. They haven't played the best teams so far, but holding both to only a FG, and winning by a total margin of 151 earns them this spot.
*Playing two promoted teams doesn't really say too much about their strength of schedule so far, but it's the SIZE of those victories that impresses me. Also, an undefeated scrimmage record is fancy. Evidence is almost beside the point as I expect great things from them this season.

4 Washington Wolfpack
*Having player only one actual game is pretty much the only reason they're here. They will challenge MEM for control of the West this season thanks to a studly D which kept TxR in check, allowing only 20 points.
*Hard to rank because they played the gutted Steel Week 1. Great win over Texas in which Washington tripled the Roughneck's rushing yds gives them this spot.
*they've only played one real game so far, but it was a good one as they stuffed TxR. Hazy has this offense rolling along with some tough tests coming up in the next 4 weeks with the key game against MEM that will probably decide the #1 and #2 seeds.

5.83 Honolulu Hurricane Warriors
*They haven't even broken a sweat with two big wins over SOF and NAS. The first big test will come in two weeks against MM, then we can tell how truly nasty this defense is.
*Scary D...and a great offense too for that matter. Hard to judge because they've played 2 newly promoted teams, but I'd say the deserve at least 7th if not higher.
*Another great Western team that hasn't broken stride while running over two promoted teams. Still, past history suggests they'll be in the tier right below MEM and WW, so I'm ranking them here.
*They have beaten 2 promoted teams so it is hard to judge just how good they will be this season. I'm looking for weaknesses and I'm coming up empty.

6 Minnesota Marauders
*They should be undefeated heading into week 8 when they host MEM. MJD has looked great so far.
*Another team that has started hot, I expect for them to be a contender.
*They beat down the Bullets week 1 then they slaughtered the Hedgehogs. They are for real and look to be coming for MEM and WW this season.
*Their D is really something. Beat a good Bullets team followed by a stomping-out of the Hedgehogs. Another great season is shaping up for Minnesota.
*They beat the Hedgehogs harder than NAN, so they should be higher. They're in a tougher conference, however, and I'm not convinced. With a couple Western teams slipping, they nonetheless have to go up, pending further results.

6.67 Indianapolis Gurupies
*3rd best team in the East imo
*Take an already solid squad and sprinkle in some of the best aerial attack pieces in the game and you have an immediate contender to win the East. They should be 8-0 when they finally get to test themselves against the D of Alpine.
*If the Golfers falter, they'll snatch the spot and be the #3 team in the West. It's hard to tell how good the SDL team they beat was, but I'm still confident in expecting big things from the Gurupies.
*I don't know if people realize how good this team is yet. The addition of fanaticsports21's player's has been huge, and they have looked strong early in the season. Very dangerous through the air.
*Team looks very solid. They have taken down the Slashers who took out WSI and they beat SDL who until this season has been solid.

8.33 New Jersey Blaze
*A close win over the Navs followed up by a shellacking of the Golfers has proved that this is one of the best new clubs this season along with the Demo. They have a chance to show us just how much of a contender they are this week when they host the Fighting Hulks.
*Who do these guys think they are? Solid start but we will learn very quickly if they can compete with the top dogs.
*They started off with a Huge upset over the Navs and then proved it wasn't a fluke by taking out the Golfers. That was a horrid schedule to start the season for most any new team and they handled it mightily.
*Another team that was tough to rank because of various reasons. 1) Won in an overtime nailbiter against the Navs...impressive. 2) Won handily over Alpine, but due to a D-AI mishap...tough to judge.
*Beating one of the best teams in the East makes them the strongest of the 2-0 promoted teams. We'll see how they do against OFG, though. Last seasons' champs can be wobbly, and maybe the Blaze can eke out a win. If so, they're for real.

9.67 Northwest Arkansas Naturals
*They beat a West playoff team and looked good doing it, but like SDL, it's hard to tell how this season's Hedgehogs compare to last season's version. Still, NAN is a safe bet for a playoff berth and may win into a 1st round home game.
*These guys are one of the teams that can step into one of the top 3-6 spots that some teams vacated last season. They are living up to the hype so far with very solid wins over the Hedgehogs and the Woodys.
*The Naturals have a great team. Have 2 wins. But have played 2 weakened teams. That's why they are where they are.
*So for so good in going 2-0, but their losses in tourneys so far drops them down a bit as they have no quality wins just yet. That could change in week 4 when they travel to Indi to face the Gurupies.

9.83 Ketchikan Kamper Adventure Rentals
*Solid win over Compton proves that they are more than fluff. They will be challenged to stay above 500 as they face 5 straight playoff teams over the next several weeks.
*Proving themselves to be a force in the Pro's with a passing game that just demoralizes defenses. These guys are a legit force and are on the right path to the playoffs
*They've gotten a lot better since I last saw them in action in AAA2. I underestimated this team earlier this season, as I thought Compton would beat them. This could also be too high, but it's hard to tell with the games they've played. That supercomputer is pumping on all cylinders.
*Despite their posting habits, Compton is a very tough squad, and KKAR's win over them speaks to the strength of this newly promoted team.

10 San Diego Demolition
*The Demo have proved that they are for real in the first 2 weeks along with the tourney wins. Things don't get easier for the NKOTB as they face the Navs and WW in consecutive weeks.
*The last of the 2-0 promoted teams. The two teams they beat may be mid-level established Pro teams, but that's still a great way to start off your first season in USAPL.
*Nice win streak. A very comfortable win over Richey helps their case. The even bigger win over Parma is hard to judge, looking at Parma's past. This team is definitely dangerous though...they will look to prove themselves against Lincoln.
*Just don't know what to think about these guys yet. They beat down the royals and they beat Parma. So no impressive victories just yet so I am looking to see more from them in the future.

13 Lincoln Navigators
*The best of the 1-1 teams. After stumbling out of the gates against the Blaze, Dingo showed a return to glory as they dog stomped the Lightning. Two huge games coming up now against the Demo and MEM to see just how far back Lincoln has come since fading last season.
*Heartbreaking loss in week 1 must have pissed em off as they destroyed SDL and it wasn't pretty!
*Lost in OT to the newly promoted Blaze. Came back in full force beating SDL 51-6. New addition Riverboat Gambler has already thrown for 800 yds with a 97.5 QB rating.
*Big win over SDL. If they hadn't lost to the Blaze, I'd be confident about their chances for a playoff spot. That loss downgrades them to "likely" in the playoff runnings.

14.67 Alpine Golfers
*No more room for error Cav, it's time to srs
*They say the loss to the Blaze was partially a goof, and I belive them. They're too good a team to be winless, and that'll change next week when they square off aginst OtR.
*Will move up the rankings imo, but much like Texas, I can't put a 0-2 team any higher. AI mishap vs the Blaze really cost them, but I see Cav turning things around. I have them winning their next 2 games over OTR & Washington
*They have started out with a beat down by MEM. Then they were beat by a Blaze team. AI Goof or not it happened and it's why the Golfers are so low. I look for them to bounce back and be back in the top 10 by the next rankings.

14.67 Texas Roughnecks
*The scheduling gods can be rough. No more excuses for the next two weeks.
*Texas has had a rough 1st couple of games. MEM had it tough but TxR had it worse! First off against the Champs and get beat in the last seconds of the game. Then they matched up against WW and didn't give Tick enough carries. They will get it straight and be back in the thick of the playoff hunt.
*Roughnecks too low imo. Sorry guys, but this is the only place I could fit you in. Being 0-2 will do that. Hell of a beginning schedule for these guys facing 2 of the top teams. Fortunately for them, they have 2 newly promoted teams in Nashville, who I think they will beat, and KKAR who will be a bit tougher. I hate to say it, but these next 2 games could make or break their season. If they don't win, they will have a hell of a hole to climb out of to make the playoffs. Trust me...I know (Lincoln, S9).
*Having their OoC game against OFG may have cost them a home playoff game. Plus, the offseason additions don't seem to have revolutionized their team. Despite an 0-2 opening, with the Tick in their stable, they will succeed.

14.83 Compton Vikings
*The loss to KKAR doesn't bode well for this playoff hopeful with MM and HHW on the horizon. Even Marley Bob may not be enough to get them past those two.
*Losing to a newly promoted team is not a good way to impress. Win over the Hammer was solid, however. I still think they'll make the playoffs. Where they'll be ranked is open to debate.
*Tough loss to KKAR, but Compton is only human while I heard KKAR has very supercomputers. The 39 point win over Carolina really helps their cause. They take on the Marauders next in a game I think they will lose.
*Week 1 beat down of Carolina had the Vikings riding high only to have their boats capsize going up against a wave of ramming rentals in Ketchikan. The Vikings will bounce back mark my words!

15.67 Washington Slashers
*Big win over WSI is nothing to scoff at followed up by keeping it close to Indi. The next few weeks will prove just where they belong in the power rankings as they face powers like the Golfers and Hulkamania.
*They took on WSI and beat em in week 1. Then week 2 a tough as nails Gurupies team beat em. This is a good team. Looking for them to make the playoff push.
*These guys went 5-11 4 seasons ago in AAA2. Since then, they have made a lot of additions, and have gotten better and better every season. Huge win over West Scranton week 1 vaulted these guys into the spotlight. They lost a close one to Indy although they only had 225 total yds.
*That win over WSI was a huge upset. Their Wk 2 game made unclear whether that was because the Slashers were that good or WSI was that bad.

17.17 West Scranton Invaders
*Nautilus should talk Run Hard into combining their two teams, then they could at least field one contender between them. Hey at least you guys get a free win next week
*Apparently WSI means "FAIL" in American, but I believe in these guys enough to put them over one of the teams that beat them. They better not stay winless for long.
*Here's a stat for you. In 2 games in USA Pro, they have already lost as many games as they did in their last 83 in Oceana. As my colleague joemiken said: Welcome to earf! I do think these guys will turn it around though. I think they should've won against the Slashers, but MEM is a tough matchup for anybody.
*Glad they came to USA Pro. Now everyone can stop saying that their leagues are better all around than USA Pro. This team Sweeped through Oceana never having a loss come to USA Pro and are 0-2. Looks like they are getting a dose of reality just like other teams would. I think they can straighten things out once they get used to the higher level of competition here. It damn sure isn't a cake walk.

17.33 Washington Bullets
*They have levels and some good players, but just have never been the same since S7. Probably time to blow this group up and start over.
*Were beat down in week 1 by the mighty Marauders. They bounced back with a nice game winning TD pass late in the 4th against OTR. Look for the Bullets to get their playoff spot back.
*Close win over OTR. Embarrassing loss to Minnesota. If they want to make any sort of playoff run, they'll need to improve.
*I guess the win over OtR counts for something. They ain't making the playoffs regardless.

17.33 Over The Rhine Red Dots
*They lost to the Bullets. They still have a better shot at making the playoff than Washinton does, however.
*It seems like these guys switch out half their team every offseason. Do I think the switch out was worth it this season? Honestly...no. It may be the chemistry, but beating a newly promoted team by 9 and losing by 3 to the Bullets. You brought in a whole new roster for THIS?
*The Red Dots were beat by a last minute TD to the Bullets and they have a victory over a new Nashville team. Not seeing too much to rave about. Cooter Splitter as usual is doin good.
*Loads of talent and GM expertise, but the chem changes likely cost them their last game and will cost them 2-3 more losses in the coming weeks as they are in the hardest part of their schedule.

19.67 Carolina Hammer
*Decent win over fading power DDL, but a big loss to Compton. The Hammer will be fighting all season to just stay in the playoff race unless they make some drastic changes.
*Got beat pretty badly by Compton week 1 then bounced back and took out the DDL. I don't see them making the playoffs but they will probably upset a playoff bound team or 2.
*Tough to rank these guys. I think they will only drop further down my list as the season continues. Compton basically dominated them, and they won by 13 over a DDL team that hasn't been relevant for a couple of seasons.
*They've got the parts for a playoff run, but they likely won't put them together.

20.17 San Diego Lightning
*Good teams don't get beat like they did last week. They will be 0-3 as they head to Nashville to fight for their lives.
*This was a very good team last season. They also had a lot of help from their deep roster. I think the roster cut hurt them badly, not that they would ever admit that. 2 Convincing losses prove it to me.
*Lost in a close one to the Gurupies. Then Lincoln absolutely had their way with them. Was their past success due in large part to their huge roster? IMO, yes. They will struggle to make the playoffs.
*There's still an outside chance they could make the playoffs, but the rest of the season is looking grim for them after that loss to the Navs. Furthermore, they'll be 0-3 next week.

22.5 Detroit Demon Lions
*See the Bullets, minus the title. They just don't seem to compete with the tier 1 teams in the East these days.
*It's amazing how quick a team can go bad.
*Lucky draw in their out of conference game. I don't see them winning any of their next 4 games. Maybe this game has passed TSE by, because they're looking weaker and weaker every season.
*Like the Bullets, a once great team that won't be around for long after the decline hits.

23.33 Dread City Diabolicals
*Thank god for NY-CA ehh!!? Judgment reserved on them until week 6
*1 win so far let's see where they end up later on.
*Got absolutely dominated by the Shockers in their first game in the big leagues. Close win over NY-CA, but they are historically a bad team. They will struggle this season, but I see them still playing in USA Pro season 11.
*Good: they're 1-1! Bad: They beat one of the worst teams in the West 17-9.

23.67 Chicago Hedgehogs
*Pretty sure Tricon cant fix this one
*This team must have had someone quit doing the AI's for them half way though last season. I never found out for sure what happened but they have been just plain dog doo doo for weeks. I only rank them this high because the rest haven't done much either.
*Their epic collapse from last season is still lingering. They are 0-2 and have given up 144 points already, while scoring 26. Wiseman fired himself as the OC, but their defense needs just as much work.
*Are they really this bad?

25.67 Columbus Woodys
*Thank god for NY-CA ehh!!? They will be fighting for relegation again this season.
*They have a win. Not as bad as I thought they would be
*Barely won by the skin of their teeth against NY-CA. Almost 450 total yards, but only 15 points. They will need to score some actual TDs if they want to win.
*Good: they're 1-1! Bad: They beat one of the worst teams in the West 15-13.

26.67 Richey Royals
*Thank god for Pittsburgh!! It only gets rougher from here on out.
*Have a win but everyone will who plays the Steel.
*I've seen what this team can do...it's just a matter of if they can do it in USA Pro. I consider them 0-1 since their win is against the Steel.
*I've got a bad feeling about this.

27 Nashville Hounds
*Getting a late start on Pro recruiting really cost this team. I pretty much give them a bye this season and look for them to simply build toward S11
*Well they should be happy to be promoted so they can say they played with the big dogs but then again it sucks to lose continously.
*Played OTR close...not much else to say.
*Lost to HHW by a smaller margin.

27.67 South Otto Fragile Porcelain Mice
*Your not in Kansas anymore
*Have some hope to fight in some games
*Rough start against 2 of the best teams in the game. Obviously they can't hang with the top competition. The question now is can they hang on enough to stay in USA Pro?
*Lost to HHW by a bigger margin.

28.5 Parma Burglars
*See WSI
*Put up small fights wherever they go.
*This team has done absolutely nothing of note since being promoted in S7. Is this the year they're relegated?
*Being out of playoff contention for this long can't be fun.

29.83 Cleveland Buckeyes
*Ugg, the Pros can just be mean
*This is what you get for being an OSU fan!
*Tough league, aint it?
*Ain't the USAPL a bitch?

30 NY-CA Ground Pounders
*Someone's gotta lose right?
*Still pounding on the ground at the bottom.
*At least they're playing in close games, although it's not against the best competition. They get WSI next followed by Parma. I believe they will get relegated when it's all said and done.
*Their season is over.

32 Pittsburgh Steel
*At least you get to bank the media revenue!!
*Done for the season.
*No steel curtain here...
*Seriously...you guys couldn't just gut BEFORE the season started?
*Their season is over.

*Their season is over.

if the red dots can squeak into the playoffs, our chem will be nearly topped off after we had it bumped, so look for us to make more noise later

chem seems to REALLY affect 4th quarter game play

I expected that from the Nav's, OtR surprised me.

From what I understand after reading many ancient religious writings, Tricon is the chosen one.

Thanks for the rankings. Very well done.

Damn. It appears that tricon won't be our savior after all this season. Hedgehogs OC spot is now vacant, though perhaps I can get bort to fill in as a secondary choice, lol.
