1 Manila Warlords 2-0
With LSP losing, the #1 seed is up for grabs. Warlords are looking strong early this season. Last week: 2

2 Bangkok Tweetys 2-0
A close second are the Tweetys who handled West Indies pretty asily. Last week: 3

3 Sumatra Sting 2-0
The Sting are not far behind at the # 3 spot, after having their way with Garuda's most hated (and possibly least talented) team. Last week: 4

4 Batdambang Killer Koalas 2-0
In my 4+ seasons in SEAPL, I don't think I've ever seen such an explosive start from a team in Garuda. After knocking off a potential Naga playoff team, they shock the league w/ an upset of the conference darlings, LSP. Rumor is these guys are going to be tested for performance enhancing eucalyptus. Last week: 10

5 Komodo Dragon 2-0
Another new team turning some heads in their debut season. A routing of the Lighting is something to take notice of, of course, everyone beats up on the Lightning this early in a season. Last week: 5

6 Louisiana Screaming Pelicans 1-1
Wow. Could their be a new king of Garuda? LSP is not used to losing this early in the season. It will be interesting to see how they rebound. Last week: 1

7 Singapore Flames 1-1
Flames get a break after a heartbreaking opener and flatten the Lowlanders. Last week: 7

8 Buffalo Rampage 2-0
Rampage are off to a good start, giving the Metalheads a good banging. Metallica sucks, btw. Last week: 8

9 Three Kingdom Warriors 2-0
Warriors take advantage of a soft early schedule. Last week: 9

10 Bangkok Lightning 0-2
It's been nothing but clear skies and sunshine in Bangkok. Not a lightning bolt in sight. Piss poor weather for football fans. Last week: 6

11 Chiang Mai Gangsters 0-2
These guys are obviously not related to the Corleone family. Last week: 11

12 Hong Kong Highlanders 0-2
They just don't seem to be trying anymore. What was once a proud franchise is about as valued as a broken down taco truck. Last week: 12

13 West Indies Warriors 0-2
Warriors get dominated by the Tweetys and must face a rebounding LSP team. Don't expect too much from them next week. Last week: 13

14 Tokyo Hellfighters 0-2
Hellfighters need to spend less time making obnoxious posts, and more time scouting, gameplanning, recruiting, and winning. Last week: 14

15 Laos King Pongers 0-2
Pongers just don't seem to have what it takes. Last week: 15

16 Sault Ste Marie Metalheads 0-2
Who? Last week: 16

Right now my Top 2 are Sumatra and BKK. Until they get beat, you simply cannot overlook those teams after what they've done in the 1st 2 weeks.

Sumatra hasn't played anybody yet. BKK is definitely on the radar (You know your team is good when people refer to you by your initials, btw). I think there's going to be a lot of parity among the top 6 teams this season. It will be interesting to see how LSP rebounds and plays the rest of the season, and whether or not BKK can keep winning the big games.

I agree with most of your rankings. I think the Tweetys should be number 1 right now, and I think LSP is too low, despite the loss... I still think LSP is the team to beat. After all, how many times did the top 3 teams beat LSP last season?

Like I said, 1-6 is pretty close. I'm pretty confident that we'll work our way back to the top.

Nice write up. I agree LSP is too low, but hey, that's what happens when you lose. Everything else looks pretty good.
