Its not like trash talking to decrease the QB's morale makes it any easier to get around the OT right?

Yes, I think so. Or at least you make him feel hurry pressure sooner.
But along with shed block (the only one I'd personally invest in) there is also first step, but you have to use AEQ to get it.

I think the point is the prerequisites necessary to build Shed Block to a useful level might be a waste of SPs for a Pass Rusher Specialist LB; those SPs would make a better pass rusher if spent elsewhere...

I think Shed Block is the only pass-rushing native SA that is useful, IMO. If only First Step was in that tree.....

Could be. Then again maybe not. You still need to protect the right on run plays. Unless your team has a pass rusher and a run stuffer on the right and you alternate based on formation. Most don't I think.

Don't forget that the RO has to be fast and agile enough to guard HBs and FBs going out for passes to his side.
