One Liners

-Fuck ties. I hate adding them in my rankings. Damn you Perkis and Turin. Damn you to hell!
-Rage is off to a bad, bad start. Can't be too surprising though considering they were the champions of WEPL the last two seasons.
-Korb shows they're out for blood this season, with a win over defending champion Black Forest Mercenaries. Nice.
-Greenwood proves to be the champion of the cat fight. Lots of scratching from one side!
-In the marquee matchup of the week, The BOATS take the win over the Danes, just like last season.
-Jayadamo wins a game. They are now higher up on the standings than Portland.
-West Wales crushed the Philharmonic. And mind you, I think the Phils are damn good, so very impressive win.
-Porto gets its first pro league win. Other than Manchester and Sevilla, therest are all looking for theirs.
-Lastly, Rivals edges out Berlin, putting them in a deep hole. Will Berlin and Portland be able to turn it around?

Scrimmages

Yes, I'll be incorporating tournament scrims in my rankings from here out.

-The Dream Boats pulled away with a nice win in Hazy, as did Paris Musketeers, Graz, Portland, BFM, and West Wales.
-Cardiff sadly got knocked out of the first round of the Coca cola tourney. Luckily it's double elimination so we'll see how it goes.
-Losers of Hazy were the Philharmonic, Cardiff, and Antwerp. Overall Cardiff is having these scrimmages hurt much more than help..
-So far our teams have put up a great showing in the PWT, with Bonn and Korb having HUGE blowouts. The Danes edged passed the Pelicans on the hands of Per Gonzales, and any of us who have played them know what he can do in a game.
-We can't really blame artic or the Penguins for losing their Hazy games though.. I mean, they played Marblehead and Monmouth, respectively. D:

Good stuff, and great to see scrimmages factored in as well. WEPL overall looks like it's doing decently so far, but that's no surprise. I think we all agreed last season that our league can definitely hold its own against good teams from other leagues, but we always lacked the firepower to keep up with the elites. We'll see if a WEPL team can step into the spotlight this season, and from the looks of things our hopes are resting on Bonn.
