We're looking for players in our upcoming Free Agent Autodraft. For those looking to enter, we currently have over 150 players and over 50 teams already signed up. The draft will take place at the end of the season and you will be drafted to a team for next year by Day 40.

Our website might answer any questions you may have: http://sites.google.com/site/ordglb/

And, players can also register through the site at: http://sites.google.com/site/ordglb/Home/registration

After you register, it will take about 24 hours to put onto the website and for you to receive a forum invite to the draft's forum.

Thanks!

I dont understand the reasoning behind holding a draft. Do you get anything out of it besides the players/agents being somewhat forced to play for a shity team/owner.

So 50 teams signed up, and enough players to fill 3 of them so far. Off to a running start eh?

Considering I've had this up for a week or so and we're not even close to the offseason, I'm pretty happy to have over 200 registrations between players and teams. Of course teams are more willing to sign up, I didn't doubt that. And, we're not trying to FILL teams... This is an offseason draft to add to your already existing roster. It's only a 5 round draft.

But, yeah, I understand those who don't want to take part in a draft. Some people like the idea of simulating a draft with their players and teams while others like to simulate being a free agent. If people didn't like the draft concept, the ILOF and Unofficial draft wouldn't have had the success they did.

I am catering to a relatively small subsection of GLB who enjoy this type of thing but regardless there are people who do. Thanks for the constructive criticism... Err, criticism.

That brings me to another question I have. What level players/teams are you looking for. Is this for next season's pee wee's? If so people are signing up players they haven't even given a thought about making yet, and people always make those players they promised at the beginning of the season, trust me. Or is this for 13 cap teams next season. I know most of this is probably in your little site, but I don't click on links I'm not familiar with. I get daily twitters from Rush Limbaugh for doing that.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. I was looking to get current Pee Wee players to join the draft for teams in our draft that are capped at Lv. 13. We've got a large stock of players for high level or uncapped leagues but I want to get more lower leveled players for the lower capped teams. While we discussed doing a draft for Pee Wee teams someday, we don't plan on doing that until we are more established and can figure out a system of how that would work. It's too tricky to try to pull off right away.

Good luck with the draft mate...i wont be taking part in it but think what your doing is a great idea. Actually a bit surprised by a couple of the agents in here being so negative ...agents that i usually find very helpful and GLB friendly .

Hope you meet your desired targets ...great idea!

Hey hey hey, once I got a clear view on his goals I backed off on the criticism. I would still never take part in a draft, unlike most people I enjoy the retardation that is recruiting. I can see what would attract people to a draft though.

Ha, yeah, I can vouch for that. He played nice after the initial skepticism.
