My FS just got it, I went ahead and sold the +2 Speed cleats I had to get this and then pumped all the tokens into it.

It's now at +21% INT -

Does anyone have this? If so has it been a noticable increase in INTs?

My FS has never gotten many - only 7 in 9.5 seasons despite high Speed 103 / Agility 80 / Vision 75. I'm not sure if that was due to build or the defense run. I've added more jumping this season on advice.

I don't know but it sounds really good.
My favorite types of AEQ are % this or % that; whatever's most relevant for the position.
TBH I'd rather have that on a CB, but safety's good too depending on how your defense uses you.
Your team probably uses you on cover 1 a lot and has you in a zone pretty far back so it'd be a miracle for you to get to the receiver in time to intercept. Maybe you can talk to them?

I always like the +SA ones the best, bit easier to quantify.

That being said I did buy a % "make tackle" piece for one of my SSs and he rarely misses, even though I play him on "balanced."

The part I'd worry about, which you both touched on, is if int's are the most relevant bonus for a SS. Seems like they're normally there a tick after the balls reached the reciever, not early enough to pick one off.

You could bump him to aggressive if you're on semi-agg just to see if you have more chances to get an INT. Hard to get a pick if you're staying back a bunch. Then again, it depends if you want to risk overplaying the WRs

A good point that someone else made is that +% EQ, VAs, SAs won't make your player do things they didn't do before. They will make you do what you already do better (or more often). If you're getting less than 1 INT per season already, work on the atts and SAs that help you get more INTs before you try to get the % up.

yeah, i wanted more picks so i trained my catching into the 40s and also started working on my jumping but my visor gives +11 int chance and since i got it 2 seasons ago ive gotten 12 ints, before that i only had one

one of my FS has 17 career INTs in 139 games - no, his build doesn't suck! ;-)

this piece looks good, but will it be useful? i highly doubt it.

This season has been all about getting jumping up there on advice from a GLB legend - other than that I was told the build was excellent.

very frustrating - maybe there is something to the hidden attribute conspiracy

I like it if your build is based around FFs.

I mean, +21% is a bit misleading, since bonuses are multiplicative. Basically, if you have a (based on whatever INTs are based on) 7% chance of intercepting any given pass your FS defends, then with that AEQ equipped, you'd have an 8.47% chance.

Not exactly a gigantic increase.
