What do you think? He's first gen and I'm thinking of retiring him soon. Is it worth repeating his build? How should I tweak it?

Speed and agility are a vital ingredients to being a hard hitter. If he has 100 speed and 85 agility he would be pretty damn good. You might have to sac a little vision next time.

Why do people think that LBs dont need strength?

because they don't, at least, not at the levels of linemen.

Thanks.

I figure next time I might sac strength a tad & possibly a point or two of vision and use them to help confidence, stamina, and speed. Other than that though I am pretty happy with how his build turned out. I'm surprised, as he was my first player and guinea pig.

you need the strenght, if you dont have it you will get pancacked by the o-line. I just went from 61 to 71 in strenght and that help alot.

After the past couple of seasons, I beacame a huge believer in agility and its ability to help make tackles. As for sacrificing vision - I wouldn't do it. Sacrifice the pass rushing SA's, and only invest the minimum in the first three SA's in the hard-hitter tree.

I'm still not a believer in confidence for LBs.

Me neither. I've trained mine up enough that it's not awful; and it's not like he performs poorly. Besides, his confidence is generally around 99 all the time anyway.

yea that's my experience, low confidence can hurt, by high confidence won't help.
