AGI stats - try to find one with First step, change direction, or shed block*

thats assuming you want to be a pass rusher.

and RAISE (by training) your vision and confidence

He asking about Custom Equipment not Advanced Equip. AEQ. Put your CE into the attribute that you have most of your regular equipment in.

I prefer to split my custom eq in my top two attributes, for almost every player.

For DEs, CE in speed and everything else in agility IMO.

Not how I built my first DE (split 50/50) but this is the route I'm going now.

whats the reason behind splitting them Darren? wouldnt the higher points value of the last 3 be better spent pushing up the main attribute?

You do realise that every position has more than one 'main attribute' yeah?

I'm more concerned with the "utility value" of the 3 points, rather than the "purchase value".

That is to say, if I could have 113 speed and 70 agility, or 110 speed and 73 agility, I would go with whichever I felt improved performance the most, rather than what would cost the most SP to achieve.

Of course that's a bit of a poor analogy in some respects, because raising agility to 73 from 70 via SP isn't at all unfeasible.

Most of my players have two attributes in the 75-85 range (base). My linemen (off and def), linebackers, my RB will, and my FB would have if I'd known then what I know now.

I do not believe in focusing on pushing one attribute super high at the expense of others, unless I continue to see linearly proportional increases in performance.

Since custom EQ is much more costly to "fix" than regular or AEQ, I would much rather play it "safe" and split it, remaining flexible with the EQ that doesn't cost flex points to change/experiment with. I've not yet found that +3 in my second most important attribute won't improve performance at least as much as an additional +3 in the "primary" attribute would.

so its play it safe then? i know i wish on some of my guys i put it in different attributes. oh well. i wont be paying flex to change it and to Urrymonster, yeah i know there is more than one "main" attribute... bad choice of words, i meant to say highest value attribute.
