1. Prague vs 8. Cincinnati

This is actually the team that I wanted to play again, so I am glad that they landed at 8. Anyhow, Cincinnati is a solid team, they just have issues with turning the ball over. -2 TO margin against Budapest in a 2 point loss, -4 against Sarajevo in an 11 point loss, but then beat Dubai by 1 point with a +3 TO margin .. They are a strange team and I think that they fiddle with their tactics too much. I am interested in playing them again just because they and Chernobyl played us closest this season and I am interested in seeing if they were legit, or if it was just a Week 4 bug (week 4 is when Bort gave out FPs because of buggy games).

I predict that Prague will win this game, I think it wont be by lack of quality competition, but by the fact that Cincinnati will shoot themselves in the feet again with turnovers.

4. Budapest vs 5. Chernobyl

Budapest is on a roll, they rolled up pretty big offensive numbers versus Washington in a surprise victory and a huge shot of respect for Zeta conference. Chernobyl on the other hand has been getting shut down on offense and not playing very good defense against elite opponents. Chernobyl is one of the two teams that came within 7 points of Prague this season, so they can handle tough teams. Also Chernobyl was in the Zeta CCG last season from the #1 seed, so they have been here before. Budapest got beat badly by Prague to start the season and would like nothing more than to face them again in round 2 and show that their 32 point week 2 loss was just a fluke and that they have improved a lot since then. I believe that Budapest is on a roll, they have their game together and they will beat Chernobyl to get their rematch.

2. Rome vs 7. Novosibirsk

Both of these teams can play some football, they both beat Alpha playoff teams in Week 16, but what about playing each other? The first thing one notices is that they have complimentary chemistry, so when the Rome offense is on the field, it matches up against a high chemistry Novosibirsk defense and then the weak chemistry units also play against each other. However, when it comes to playing tight games, keeping the score low and suffocating their opponents, clearly the advantage is on Rome's side. The talent is of similar levels, but Hazy has his own players at key positions where they contribute heavily to his team and Tpat and his 6 team GM run system seems not to work that well, even with the HUGE improvements in Novosibirsk over last season. Rome wins this one with their usual gameplan, defense and running the ball.

3. Silesia vs 6. Rockford

The first time around Rockford won this game by 2 points with a +3 TO margin. Since then most of Silesia has been banned (even though they have won 5 straight since most of their team was banned), and Rockford has taken some chemistry hits. History and chemistry would suggest that Silesia wins the game, the headless, ownerless playoff team will ride on to round 2 to face Rome in a rematch of Rome's tightest loss of the season.

Also if you want to know what I think for the next few rounds, Id say that it goes down like this:

1. Prague vs 4. Budapest

Budapest is fired up after two big wins, they come into the Punisher's Pit in Prague and keep it tighter than their first 32 point loss, but they find out exactly why no one wins in Prague other than the home team.

2. Rome vs 3. Silesia

Rome's conservative gameplan almost backfires but this time they dont lose to Silesia, as the Miners have had to put in a lot lower level talent since the last time they played, due to all the bans.

1. Prague vs 2. Rome

Last game was an 11 point win by Prague 5 games ago. Rome had Prague right where they wanted them until the 4th quarter when Prague stepped on their neck and put them away. Rome's normal gameplan is running and defense, they do a good job at these, it keeps all their games' scores low and competitive. Last time these two met, it was an even TO margin, if Rome could just get a couple of breaks that 11 point loss could turn into a huge win. I predict that Prague will win this at home, but it wouldnt surprise me at all if Rome does the unthinkable and beats us.

As for the League CCG, Id wait and see on that, since no one has beaten CT Id figure they are the favorites and with Washington slipping, Sarajevo seems to be the other team that might be there.

No upsets, eh? If the Invaders taught us anything, it's that crazy stuff happens in the playoffs. I'm really pulling for Rockford in the upset YOU CAN DO IT!

I didnt post who I would LIKE to win, Im posting who has shown that they will win and how.

Yes, actually Id love to see Silesia out of there, but actually my odds for the Zeta CCG all involve the top 3 in some form, the most interesting game actually would have been if Budapest got to #3 and then had to play Rome .. Id have really liked to see that game.

I think we lose the first round of playoffs this year due to chemistry. Sheboygan will probably whip up on us. The good news is the very few points we lost by in each of our defeats with such poor chemistry we're all competitive games. As our chemistry improves this offseason, we look forward to spanking each and everyone of you next season.

Wow, I didn't realize chemistry was such a huge factor. As for the Invaders, I look forward to playing you again. You were a worthy opponent in week 1, and I can't wait to see how ya'll have progressed since then. Good luck to you psych (but not too much luck). May it be a fun one to watch on the replay.

You guys gave us our most competitive game of the year. We were one play away from not being able to boast an undefeated season.

Its gonna be a tough one for us against the miners but ya have to remember most of their players are 2-3 lvls lower than what they show. No added skill points to all the banned players

Actually rdr, while I used to say things like that, it does not work out that way. They still give 2-3 points per level automatically or whatever, I dont keep track.

But really best of luck man, Id love to see yall win over Silesia just because they cheated and were dumb about it, but as I said, from what they have shown since half of their team was banned, they are still a very solid team.

Randy you saying the miners will win is about the dumbest thing I have ever seen we have 2-4 levels on all these guys remember they can't even adjust their tactics. We win hands down then we go on to smoke Rome.

I know we can, at this point I don't think it is an upset.
