Am currently slow-building a back who i want to be a complete super-elusive back. Not a fast guy who can dodge a bit, but pure super elusive.

I've so far gotten speed to natural 68, but I'm wondering how high you personally would go with the agility and vision. Obviously vision is supposed to be important for super-elusive, so high high would you go?

In the long term- What SAs would you pursue? I got lucky with a Quick Cut piece which i think will be vital

I would tell you but I'd have to kill you.

Note - the above suggestion is a bit off.

Hmm interesting.i was thinking along roughly similar lines as you up until the SAs. I thought that maybe Quick Cut would be ideal? Because juke and head fake don't actually have any relation to the agility of the player do they, whereas quick cut, first step and spin do?

speed should go to 77 and you could get away with like 30 vision probably.

really?? I'd heard/seen in forums that vision was like the 2nd key attribute for running on super-elusive to diagnose all the crazy little cuts. i dont know if that came from Bort himself or not though

I have seen backs with 70 vision and they go side to side way too much and get tackled from behind way to often. Pathing issue that might get fixed.

Ah i see. I guess this is another one of those where 'logically' we'd think one attribute would be important, but due to game flaws the opposite is true lol

Thanks for all your input guys

This is true, although I'd eventually bump vision to 48. High vision is not required and almost hurts your player after a certain point.

to be more clear, i don't think more vision is a BAD thing per se. the problem is that if you keep adding vision you can't add those points to something else...and you really get only marginally better at 'seeing' holes and stuff. there's just no point imo, although taurran is right bumping it to 48 will have positive impacts in your ability to catch the ball out of the backfield (every elusive back is also a scat back for the most part)

I think that anything past 55 is actually a bad thing for an elusive back, especially a super elusive back. Once you get up there they start being too elusive to the point of bouncing back and forth instead of moving downfield.

you may be right, i definitely don't see a benefit of spending the points though
