you kind of blew it by going with so many SAs so early. you needed to get strength, speed, and agility much, much higher before investing anything in SAs.

if you want to just make him the best he can be for the rest of the season, put everything you can into agility until it is capped, then the rest strength.

the easiest way is to slap whoever decided that you should play LDE!!!! and a guy with twice your str RDE!!!. ask your owner to switch you around and you will both improve.... alot.

Honestly, there's no point in listening to this know-it-all "There's only 1 way to build" bullshit.
Basic rules:
1) Train something when you are far from capping it
2) Focus all your points into 1 attribute at a time until you reach the next cap
3) It's better to be great at something than ok at everything (99% of the time)
You decide what type of player you want to be, then create a build around that, getting to caps as fast as possible (every time you level you are naturally given small bonuses to each stat, and at the caps those bonuses are larger. So, if you get a .25 boost before you reach 48 points for example, but .5 after you hit 48, then all those levels you reach after you get to 48 actually doubles your natural bonus).
Your SAs will be valuable later, and doing them early isn't a great idea, but it doesn't hurt you that much later. See about flipping your position (like bigg said) and focus into your build a little.
Also; your equipment is WAYYYY too spread out this early in the game. Like I said; pick something and be good at that. Your speed is high, but you don't have the agility to use it all. Re-do your equipment into either all strength or all agility, and then dump every SP you get into the other until you cap it, is my first suggestion. Train your confidence/stamina on intense while it's still got high value (until you hit about 31 in both, I'd say), and continue to get your strength, agility and tackling to your first cap (agility and speed to the 2nd caps as well).
All of that is suggestion only. You have to pick what type of DE you want, what skills you want to be known for.

Good post. I still feel that he didn't specialize towards a specific strength in the beginning and that he's stunted because of that. While many builds are salvageable I think he'd be better off retiring and trying again based off advice you and others have laid out.

Well, he was clearly trying to specialize. High speed, a lot dumped into the pass rusher... This guy is building for QB pressure. He's really only dumped 4 points into his 'worthless' tree, and all of those will need a minor value later in life, anyway. Speed that high with agility that low says he's green and doesn't understand their relationship. If he moved equipment into agility and gunned his vision, at this level he wouldn't even need the strength just yet (but VERY soon), as he'd be around the OT before the OT was out of his 3 point stance.
