Eastern Europe Pro League - Preseason Rankings (Alpha)
Since no one else did and I was checking teams out anyways. Here we go.
Alpha Conference
1. Emmaus Fighting Green Hornets - Best of the best. Would have lost the final game last year without EE. Can't pick against them, great win streak, top 30 GLB team. Great owner. EE dropped roster day 41 and I thought they would be beatable but he decided to reup.
Should be another close to undefeated year. Roster is pure Eye Candy. Cut to 55 might hurt slightly, less energy at some positions. New QB doesn't look quite as good, we will see. Close first game with the Ragin Cajins.
2. Buda Pests - Lost first round finals last year. Solid core, great owner. Should compete for a home playoff game. Anywhere from #2 - #4 seed. Rolled by the ballers first scrim, they beat most everyone anyways.
3. Stuttgart Blitzkrieg - Second round playoffs last year, not bad for first year in pro. New positions players, looking to make a run at top 3 playoff seed this year. Solid first scrim against a questionable team.
4. Sofia Spiders - Spiders are probably a few posts to low here. Should compete for a #3-#5 post in the playoffs. Second round playoff team last year, ran into the hornets after squeaking by wrath. Handled the Russian Revolution last season easily.
5. Arkadak Arsenal - Decent AAA team. Levels should compete. Lost first scrim to a so so team, that doesn't help. Lost 3rd round AAA playoffs. Surprisingly hung with a few pro teams via scrimmage last season. This team should fight for a #7-8 playoff post.
6. Warsaw Wrath - Always a solid squad. Great owner. Have not seen him in the recruitment forum as much as seasons past. Just got by the tigers first scrim, not sure if they got any better this year. Yes light that fire.
7. Dallas Smoke stacks - Surprisingly good AAA team. Season 9, Eastern Europe AAA #2 League Champion. Lost to the galaxy by 4 last year. Handled SGA barely first scrimmage. Looking at #3-#7 playoff post.
8. Vladivostok Voodoo - Team should be solid. Hung with the monkeys last year. Only lost 2 real close games. Probably going to surprise people with a #5-#6 playoff bid.
9. Minsk Ninjas - Only other team with a shot at the top 8 depending on the incoming talent. Not much to show for last season. Maybe they will be better this year.
10. Alexandrovsk Conquerors - Solid AAA #1 champ. A bit lower level. Should compete for #7-8 playoff post if builds are solid. If not then... Never really played anyone. Got schooled last season by the range roamers. Might not make the playoffs unless they brought in some talent.
11. Warsaw Warriors - Good Team/owner. Schooled RR first game out. Not impressive last season but the team can get hot. Could be anywhere from a #3 seed to out of the playoffs. Hard to rank.
