The New season is finally upon us, and so we may as well start the BS talk, and compare to see if size matters.....
Both conferences are starting with alot of new teams......after looking around, i think the 11 team owners that stayed will get the first vote of confidence, and all the newcomers can EARN their rankings...........
UR will be the team to beat, and RR has only lost to one team in of the playoffs, so for now, that conference has the nod..........so, here you have em, biased or not.

EAST
This conference is going to be a little tougher to pick the order at this point. There are 5 teams with the roster loaded, and one not far behind.
Of those 5, three were playoff contenders.
The next group of 6 have started to fill the rosters, but are a bit behind, and the last 5 are not even showing anything yet.
But, being bored as i get sometimes, i am gonna put an thought out there, and start the whinning wagon.......

The TOP 5 are all looking good on paper, but there really is a clear favorite based on past performance.

TOP DAWGS
Unnecessary Roughness
The clear favorite in this conference are the Unnecessary boys, as they proved with the last season rising up last season. They have proven from the first season on, that they are a solid run team, with good GMs and ownership. Look for them to shoot for a possible undefeated season and a sure shot at home field advantage thru the playoffs.
Rookietown Raiders
The Raiders have slowly improved each season, and with the third season are hoping to advance even further into the playoffs. They will prove the best test for the UR team, depending when they meet…The Raiders seem to do well early in the season, and should continue with that tradition....Look for them in the home field spot for at least one playoff game.
Mighty Lemmings
The old EE double As have turned into the Schwarzenegger group out of EE…..and have been renamed the Lemmings..they obviously have a plan, and are on their way to implementing something new for the conference. If they are as good as they look like they might, they could battle for a top spot, and end up with a home playoff setting as well.
Onett Meteorite
Onett has arrived, they had 2 looks last season, good and not so good…….but, they now have a full season of learning, and looking at things they want to show the conference they are for real………this is their chance, and they might just do it……..top finisher, and maybe even a home playoff game.
C'ville 29ers
I struggled picking the 29ers after last seasons debacle, but…..they have showed initiative so far, and are ahead of the pack in recruiting. They could make the playoffs, and for now, I will give that notion a go……….

The next 6 will battle for the rest of the playoff spots......

MIDDLE OF THE PACK FOR PLAYOFFS

Dorchester Eagles
This is one of those teams that could really surprise us. They have a near full roster, and a new group to bring something new. I look for them to either work just over .500 or maybe even challenge the top group………….too early to tell.
Hixson Zombies
From the start, these guys have a cool avatar, and a solid roster, they also could be a new challenge to the old crowd……I put them on the same level as the Eagles.
Disturbed D-Leaguers
Disturbed boys deserve credit for effort, but have a ways to go before I would pick em to do much more than challenge for a bottom playoff spot….
Las Vegas Smutt
I wanna play these guys just to look at the players avatars………..that may be enough distraction to get these guys some wins, and a playoff spot.
Algoma Baby Rockers
These guys look to be competetive………the owner is an experienced GLB guru. Look for this group to be at the top of the heap for the playoff picture, and maybe even challenget the TOP Dawgs.
Downers Grove High
Looks like another new group trying like hell to fill the roster, but having more success than others…………a virtual guess as to where they will end up in the mix.

what we can expect is the top 4 or 5 to beat up on the rest early, and as the season goes, the slow starters will rise up some.
Top 4, not in any order

TOP DAWGS

The Heroes are well run, have a full squad, and proved last year they can compete. With another year under their belt, they should prove to be even tougher. Look for them to compete for a first round home playoff game.
Austin Little Bevos
The Bevos finished well last season, and as usual have a full squad early, and will again beat up on the wannabees, and give the upper echelon a run for the money, this team also should be in the running for a first round home playoff spot.
Chicago Tenacious Toads
The Toads did well AGAIN last season, and had the misfortune of facing Denver in the second round of the playoffs. They have reloaded again this off season, and should push everyone in their conference. Look for the Toads in a home playoff setting as well.
Virginia Vipers
The Vipers had an interesting season last season, with an early start toward a really good record, but finished the regular season losing 3 of the last 5 games, giving them the 8 seed, and a first round visit to Denver. This year, with a complete season under their belt, they will prove to be more solid all season, and have a shot at a home playoff game.

MIDDLE OF THE PACK
Colorado Beatdown
The Beatdown look to be the most diligent in filling the roster so far, and if that is any indication, then they will battle the middle crowd for a playoff spot
Pee Wee Gods
The Gods have a long ways to go from here, but it is early yet so they can keep up with all the other middle dwellers….depending on how the schedule treats them, they should get a playoff spot.
milwaukee Moma's boys
The boys have put together a full offense, but it takes both sides of the ball to win, EVEN in Pee Wees……….they should have a shot at playoffs, but it will depend on the GMs now.
Alcatraz Renegades
Renegades are waiting yet to fill the roster, and this may prove enough to put them behind the eight ball if the schedule is not good to them………but they have a start.
San Diego Hitmen
The Hitmen will do better than last season, but WOW, they were 1-15……….
Lincoln County Young Guns
Young Guns have a start, but not much of one.
the rest are just not showing anything yet.
