Apparently no one else has thoughts about the change. I think somewhere between close and medium is best. I wanna give enough space for the QB to think he is open then swoop in for the pick

-50 owns not too far, not too close.

I played 1 game at 4 yards cushion. Entirely too far.
I played 1 game at 3 yards cushion. Too far, but had a good game (2 targets, 1 6yd gain, 1 INT).
Will probably play on 2.5 yards next.

2 yards is too big of a cushion too.

I tried 0 for the first preseason game and did pretty well. If your team uses DBs on blitzes, it seems to help a little being that close to the LOS, also.
Used 3 for the 2nd preseason game and had 14 tackles, most of those were the WR catching a short pass, getting a couple YAC yds then getting tackled. The cushion isn't just for the start of the play, but is how far the CB will stay off the WR until the ball is in the air. For most short passes, there isn't enough time to close that far of a gap before the ball gets there on setting 3.
I'm going to try setting 6 for the final preseason game, just to see what its like, but will probably go somewhere between 0 and 1 for the regular season.

i played on -100 (0 yards) and owned.

my CB is level 25 with 105 speed so i guess he can handle it though. i really like these new settings!

Why are CBs playing so far back? Last year i thought most played on Close and now some of you guys are playing further back than medium? I don't get it. Nothing changed with the sliders. There is just more room for adjusting

I'm playing far back to entice the QB into throwing the ball to the receiver so I can get balls knocked loose...

i'm playing on 1.5 yds due to my 15pt investment in ballhawk. if it weren't for those two i'd play on 0yds.
