Both 4-5 games will be tough. The rest, well, the higher team should win, but then again, its the playoffs.

WESTERN CONFERENCE
(1) Oklahoma City Spartans vs. (8) Vallonia BeaverHunters

Hopefully the new secret weapon OKC has in place will provide some mild results. BeaverHunters have some talent, and are coming off of a rough end season matchup. I doubt we will see a repeat of the 30-0 shutout last time they met, but my I'm gonna vote for OKC (*crosses fingers I didn't jynx us*)

(4) Oklahoma Thunder vs. (5) Los Angeles Reign

LA had a softer end of season game list, but the scores they toss up aren't anything to be sneezed at. Oklahoma has the season win on their backs, but their team chemistry is kinda weak at the moment which might provide for some interesting mistakes if what I've been reading is true. I'm gonna give this one to LA

(2) Colorado Springs Flyers vs. (7) Bay Area Bastards

Bay Area has the season victory over Colorado, but they've come a long way since day 1 getting only 2 more losses 1 from Vallonia who just dominated them in yards, but i see a lot of CPU depth on that loss as well. Giving it to Colorado, but this one should be close.

(3) Over The Rhine Red Dots vs. (6) Little Haiti Voodoo

Over The Rhine dominated them a little over a week ago. Not a lot to say here, both have solid offenses, its going to come down to if Haiti's defense can stop them this time. Over The Rhine Red Dots will win, will either be very close or an early blow out

EASTERN CONFERENCE
(1) Washed Up Rock Stars vs. (8) Cleveland Firebirds

What can I say about the 1 man machine that has just been dominating the competition all season that hasn't already been said. His player level is below average, but the fact his chemistry is flawless and every player has a perfectly set game plan leads me to belive this won't be the Rockstar's first loss

(4) New York Warriors vs. (5) Boston Massacre

Another game barely played a week ago, New York came out strong and kept scoring when they met during the regular season, although overall a very competative game the Warriors just couldn't put it in the endzone even though there was only a 3.5 yard difference in their offense and no fumbles lost or thrown int's even though Boston went to the air almost 2x as often as the Warriors. This one is a very very tough call, but I'm going to go with the Warriors because 2 of their 4 losses were decided by less than 4 points, and the other 2 were against the Monkeys and Rockstars

(2) Eleven Wise Monkeys vs. (7) Dallas Rampage

This is my big upset pick, not that I don't doubt the Monkey's skills if you look at how far Rampage has come. 3 of their losses came in the first 4 games, 3 came from the hands of the powerhouses leaving them with 1 that was lost cause they lost focus in the 4th. Boston threw a lot of balls in the air and some how they caught nearly all of them. If you look at their loss against OKC was lost by their Kicker (sorry to point fingers haha) but if they had made 2 of the 4 FGs they missed they would have crushed our perfect season, and their loss to 11 Monkeys wasn't that big of a blowout, they even beat them in passing, they just couldn't make it into the endzone

Sorry to go against my fellow Monkey enthusiasts, but this one will be close I think with Rampage coming out on top

(3) Louisville Nighthawks vs. (6) San Antonio Stallions

With the Stallions coming off a terrible finish to the regular season and the fact that they are now a CPU team leads me to lean towards the Nighthawks for the simple fact that the new owner will have to do a lot of spitballing and research to actually make this game close. Sorry to the Stallions, but unless you guys luck into an owner quick who knows what he is doing I forsee your playoff hopes ended quickly

No way are the Colorado Springs Flyers looking past Bay Area Bastards. They have a solid defense and have already beat us once this season.

Anybody know what happened over at the Stallions' camp? I hope we didn't scare their owner off.

id guess with the 3 losses they suffered towards the end and the abrubt CPU take over the owner went inactive

EDIT: actually literally since i posted half of their team just went inactive with a handful of the "agents" being banned so my guess is he double dipped a bit too much with accounts heh

with the retarded similarity in usernames as well i would go with my later thoughts haha - got the ban stick for too many accounts lawl

i think this is probobly the toughest first round matchup game. Probobly the most evenly matched. I am going to pretend that i am not a member of the boston massacre for a second:

Okay, so the New York Warriors are well underated. they seem pretty solid when looking at their players and power rankings. They have a pretty tight nit defense and an offense that has very few weak points. They only have 5 losses this season. Two of them, as have been mentioned, are against the #1 and the #3 team in the league. They fell apart against the Atlantic City Atomic Gods, a 5-11 team currently in 11th place. They lost by 4 points. They also lost to the bristol bullets, the 9th place team, this time by only 2 points. Their 5th loss i will mention is against the #3 team the nighthawks. Satisticall, this team could be 13-3 right now.

The Boston Massacre. Typically known as the "best and worst team" in the league. They have an extremely explosive offense that can score almost at will. This team has a Receiving squad almost unmatched by any in the league, and the QB has a BQ rating of 81. At 4th best passing in the league they can dish the ball like no other. Their running game is lead by jason Leblanc, one of the best HB in the league. 9th in rushing yrds and 2nd in rushing TDs, he is a beast. The backup juan caples is also just good enough to be one of the better backups in the league. This team has either scored 20+ points and blew out the other team, or they have gotten destroyed. Its a hit or miss with the massacre.

The Massacre also have the 7th worst defense in the entire league. Thats 7/32. How can you possibly be fifth in your conferance with a defense as horrible as that? Its not like they lack the talent, they just lack organization. they can't figure out who the starters are much less stop a team in the red zone. Many games have had to be won by a last second TD pass because the defese gave up a TD the play b4.

However the New York Warriors don't have many weaknesses. they are a little above the middle of their league in every category. They play well every game they play, and it shows. The only worry for the warriors is that they do not have any explosive offensive players. their QB is sitting at a rating of 75, and their HB only averages 50 some yrds a game. Their recievers are decent, and their O-line is fine, but certainly not spectacular.

If you look at the matchup bars, it seems like its a clear choice for the winner, boston has higher rushing passing, and recieving. But if you examine the teams closely you can see its not that easy.

The favored team is certainly the Warriors based on the season game with the Massacre (W 30-16, warriors) and common opponents. But keep in mind that their common opponents played the massacre early in the season, and the warriors later. The onlt worry for the Warriors is that Boston will come out strong in the 1rst and 2nd quarter and score a few quick TD's b4 their explosive starters get tired. If the Warriors can hold out for the first half and don't let Boston score a TD, they will proobly win.

If the Warriors can manage to contain the massacres key players, then in the second half, when the massacre's lower level defense (lower stamina) starts to get worn out, I think the Warriors can win.

I am going to go with a warriors win 24-3

MAN THAT WAS HARD!!!!!!!!!!!!! i want to root for my team but i don't think we have much of a chance. I still stand by what i said though, this will be a VERY exciting game.

Not gonna lie.... it's a damned good feeling to wake up on day 1 of the playoffs and find out that two of your starters had been sandbagging their boosts for the playoffs.

(2) Colorado Springs Flyers vs. (7) Bay Area Bastards

I predict #7 beating #2 here.

The Bay Area Bastards have a solid team and a tougher schedule, I think they should be on the watch the f out list...
