Anyone else following the draft. Likin' the Rangers' first two picks. Solid HS pitcher and the #3 college power hitter.

I watched it... I'm a Reds fan first (red... dots), but always liked the rangers too. My first baseball games were always Rangers games. I was pretty pissed when the Reds took some douchebag named Boxberger and passed on Scheppers.

I'll always thank the Reds for giving us Hamilton
The Rangers farm system is looking to be in GREAT shape. A lot of people in baseball are saying it's been a long time since they've seen a farm system as deep as the Rangers currently are. With Nolan at the reigns I think the future is looking better than it has in awhile.

I LOVED Hamilton. He was my favorite player. However, the Reds got a good young pitcher out of it, and Hamilton looks like he can't stay healthy. That was the concern with him while he was in Cinci, and it's playing out over time. The stuff he did to his body has taken an effect to the point that he's always gonna be an injury risk.

True. And I'd be a lot more worried about it if we didn't have a lot of good young arms in the farm system right now.

Twins with the pick of the day. Gibson could have easily gone top 5, stress fracture in his forearm is nothing.
