I tried making an Agility DT. He pretty much so sucks nads. I was thinking of retiring him. Either that or maybe it was the league he was in. I've traded down to a lower league this season and was going to give it one more season before retiring him.

Do you think this build is the sux? Or is there some merit in an agility DT? If so, how should I change up the build to get some success out of it?

Agility d.t's need a lot of agility ( obviously). At your level my d.t. had 100+ agility. Now he has 11 shed blocks, he is pretty good at getting pressure and generating hurries and sacks.

Just keep pluggin away. get your str up to 80ish, your speed up to 75ish and your agility past 100, get shed blocks way up and enjoy.

That's the build of a slow defensive end blessed with great COD and first step. Tackles should reach at least 70 strength before doing anything else, because their primary job is to hold up blockers and to stop the run, shedding blocks and making plays aren't expected from them, unless they're in a cover 2 type scheme, which is dependant on the DL making plays in the backfield.

pretty much. keep jamming on agility/strength and speed. so at very high levels, your SA's will make your guy a demon. but there's a ways to go. perhaps at 55, he'll top out
