I was wondering how effective the First Step SA for DTs are especially if the build leans more toward strength.

First step is good with high speed. It doesn't make a difference if your first step fires and puts you at 40 speed.

lol. 68 speed is the minimum i think, once you cap the other mains (agi/str) into the 70's
right?

Right. But I would still probably look for other things over first step. Maybe at least find a shed blocks first, then max it out, THEN find a first step.
