The Phoenix Buffalos are heading into the last game of the regular season with an impressive 10-3 record, which includes an 8 game winning streak before it was broke in a close 6-3 loss to the Spokane Cheetahs. Fans and critics critcal of the team's opening day outlook are now on their bandwagon, but within the locker room, there's some turmoil in the WR department as Nick DeMarco has been quite vocal to staff and the media about his lack of playing time and passes thrown his way.
"Shuk is the man around here, I get that, but Kobe Jordan, Vincent Johnson, these guys are not my equal," DeMarco said in a local Phoenix newspaper. There are already rumors spreading that DeMarco could be a free agent at the end of this season, but with the WR's strong words, you'd think he'd want out of Phoenix already.
"I just want to be able to contribute, and as we head into the playoffs, there's only two choices, either our QB starts throwing more passes my way, or I find a more competent QB to do that for me."
