Warrior General Games

Pretty straight forward, I just got the overall number of each team and added them together based on their Eastern or Western Conference. Averaged the team overall rating for 16 teams per conference, then by the league total. The fourth column is the amount of ranking points an average team has in favor of the West over the East. (If it's a negative number, the east would be favored)

very interesting, this may be a stupid question but how do you find the overall number of the team?

Since the last game is the mix and match game by conference, I simply went to each team in the Western Conference and looked at the matchup for game 16. I did that for all 16 Western Conference teams while spliting the numbers up side by side based on their respective conference.

Best Conference far and away is West 6. 14 West, 4 East and 8 East are tied for the Worst Conference.

Leagues 11, 12, and 1 are equal by ranking. League 6 is the only league with a full point difference between the two.

I bet the BBB#6 league champion comes out of the East though.

This is what makes analyses like this so interesting. Looking at something like this the West conference of BBB #6 looks stronger, when in reality I would almost guarantee the East to be the stronger of the two.

We'll find out in a couple hours.

Both have looked pretty strong though and so have a lot of these BBB leagues.

Oh, no doubt, I'm not saying the competition isn't stiff on both sides, but I think overall our higher ranked teams are just slightly stronger. It's not like a blowout or anything, and it gets closer the further down the ladder you go, but I think we have the slight edge.

Well, it appears I was wrong, West has won some games I thought East had in the bag. Great job guys.

Even though BBB#4 appears to be the weakest league and that's where I'm at....lol

Of course, I'm sure people will argue (if they haven't already) that the scouting report overall scores don't necessarily provide the best estimate of a teams ability. However, since that same margin of error is uniformally applied, it seems like a reasonable method to me.
