yeah but I know you can be as effective with much less which is why I disagree. I know this because my hb has done so and averages as many broken tackles as many of the super strong backs.
I only have 75 strength and broke 208 tackles last year with my combo back in USA AAA 1

I think well rounded backs are the way to go when building a power or combo back. I am not saying that 80 strength naturally is bad, but then puting all of your equipment on strength is a mistake imo. Think of it like this, speed is always on, strength is not. Combo backs face different opponents than do power backs. Power backs usually run up the middle and face MLBs (higher strength) SSs (higher strength) DTs and NTs (way higher strength) sometimes DEs (higher strength), and combo backs usually run OT and pitch plays to the outside, facing CBs, FSs, sometimes SSs, DEs, but since all these players have to be able to catch them, usually from the side or behind unless they're lucky, the tackle is much easier to break on top of the fact that they'll have less tackling and strength.
