has anyone observed the difference between a CB with 60 vision and one with 70 vision?

my CB is breaking on the ball well with 52. i posit that using the dozens of skill points i'd use to bring it up to the "regular" 68 would be better spent ANYWHERE else.

Yes it helps. Vision is good for getting more int's. You don't get faked out as much by pump fakes. You normally get into position better. See where you have 52 vision and are "getting great jumps" with more vision as a corner you will see that you won't be "getting great jumps" anymore, you will already be there before it's thrown.

higher vision ALWAYS equals more interceptions.

higher vision will also help you stick with WR throughout the route. When WR's run slants especially, the CB seems to do a straight backpeddle more frequently if his vision is lacking.

Id say your fine with 60....but I havent personally tried 68. I will be doing that this season. Ill let you know how it works out!

we have two level 46 CB's on our team with nearly the same build (one player is mine).....speed in the mid 90's, agility at 69 and vision at 68.....both with SV at 7/8......

this season we had an older CB put 10 points in mentor giving us each a 10% boost in vision.....to about 75.....both of us had breakout seasons....i think vision works (at least when combined with SV it does)

Higher vision doesn't just equal more interceptions, it equals a higher quality of play overall. Both of my coverage cbs, Yes Man and Yes Man: The Massacre have at least 70 vision; I think the results speak for themselves.

Yes Man: End Game will have 70+, and if I make any other Yes Men, they will as well.

Yeah. Vision at 70 should be mandatory.

vision is often not as high on receivers, so a lot of the thyme the CB has a bit of an advantage in situations requiring it.

why? My CB is fine with 60. Its not MANDATORY, like everyone says. Its good, but not necessary. You'll shut down fine without it. Im sure it helps with ints though.

+1. not mandatory, but it helps. if you have lots of SV, you shouldnt need 70 vis quite as much. i personally have vis at 70 and have 10 SV, but i wouldnt say vis to 70 necessary. i did just fine without it. am i doing better with it? i would like to think so, but again not necessarily needed.

If you're wanting to compete in the best pro leagues, it should be mandatory imo.
