Hey thanks. We did have a solid group, several star players, and really just needed to continue to make some upgrades and find a few more stars. What happened with us was burn out. Our GM's weren't as dedicated this season on game planning. The weather was getting nice and we decided not to force guys who were getting tired of running the AI's to commit to it again. No one was wanting to step up to run the AI's either.
Had there been a way to switch to casual, we would have been here. The game is just very, very involved and after doing it for over a year straight, it is sometimes hard to want to keep putting in that time and effort. This league was a better challenge than I expected honestly! I thought we could finish top 6-8 year one and maybe could have been an 8 anyway this season, but the top of the league is much better than expected. GL to everyone. Thanks for the gesting. It was fun.

Pretty much the same reason we packed it up.

Well, wine's ownership has expired, and on the Bats' page, it is listed as a cpu team (although we are still listed as gms). I don't know why it's not showing up as CPU on the team page yet. Thorn is aware that we were disbanding at the end of the season, and there are no players on the team, so if there's no change, it's all on the admins, not us.

It sucks especially after all the talking we did, but I gave up ownership after 3 seasons, Dubs lasted 6 so I totally understand. It awesome that some of these owners can last as long as they do, but it really takes a lot out of your personal life. At some point, it is time to do something different. It is a lot easier to be a player than a GM or Owner.
