All right guys, I have no desire for a farewell parade or for offering grand explanations. Think what you want. I'm fine with it. My former players all know and that's the only thing that was important to me. If you're absolutely dying to know anything more than I say in this post, PM Sledge or Tricon. That'd amuse the holy shit out of me. However, as much as I hate to disappoint you, this post has extremely little to do with any of that
What it has to do with is an is apology to NAN. As most of the NAN guys most likely know, your DC made an innocent comment about MEM possibly being "slightly more dominant" in the West than we were in the East. Don't get me wrong, in a stretch, I can see that being locker room material, but there sure the fuck was nothing really wrong with someone expressing a legit opinion in a respectful manner. Hell, if we had a reason to freak out and throw a hissy fit over that, so did every team in every power ranking I ever did that I didn't have as #1. Frankly, to honestly flip over something as trivial and harmless as that was childish, egotistical and a flat out embarrassment.
After our 1st game against NAN, oukurt sent me a 100% first class PM. I made the mistake of sharing that with my GMs, as a means of chilling their fucking spoiled, insecure and immature asses. It obviously didn't work. Oukurt, isn't even the owner of NAN. He's a GM that was trying to be classy and received a swift kick in the nuts, being told that the DC that made the "offending" comment was an embarrassment, should be removed from the team, to use one of the favorite phrases of the sender of said PM, "BLAH, BLAH, BLAH." Honestly, I should have apologized on the spot. Your DC wasn't the embarrassment.
Then, there was the NAN GLB forum post about the returner. I didn't agree with the edited posts (purposefully or not) insinuating that we may have had something to do with the DE at K returner, but to have that same post by your DC rehashed again....just damn.
Frankly, I was flat out embarrassed for GB &/or myself to be linked to any of that in any way and wanted to publicly apologize for it. Since it's the only thing I've ever been embarrassed by that had anything to do with GB, I needed to right that wrong before the end.
That's all I'm going to say about this or GB in general. Thanks, guys. A lot of the owners and players here, as well as all of the agents on GB were the only things I enjoyed last ssn. The rest was all a combo of work and baby sitting spoiled, manipulative as hell, egomaniac children. This is supposed to be a game. I wasn't having fun. Honestly, I'm torn on if I'm just going to walk away or take some of the consulting offers that have been pouring in (Side note: WOW...Thanks, guys. I never expected it). Either way, thanks for the ride guys. It was an honor to be a PO team all these ssns in by far the best league in GLB
