Right now he blows. Im not going to retire him, even though I should, because recruiting sucks and I dont want to recruit another WR for my team.

Heres build w/o equipment. Right now everything is in speed, but if someone has a good idea then I will get him some new stuff. If you would rather PM me go ahead.

I would keep EQ in speed but get catching to the 3rd cap asap. Maybe try one piece of EQ in catching...

Put all EQ in to catching.

Put all SP's from boosting in to agility...get it to 74 eventually.

Train vision + Confidence from now until infinity.

Wah-lah. Possession WR.

Speed: 68.5
Agility: 64.52

Get Speed and Agility to the next respective caps.
Put all your equipment into speed.

And you need to pour a lot of your next skill points into first step and quick cut.
You won't get enough separation with 2/2 in FS/QC.

Hai thar.

Keep equipment as is.
Train speed/agility on intense.
Use your boost on getting FS to 7 then QC as high as possible.
Re-allocate VAs if Bort gives a reset. 4-3-4 combo should be an 11 somewhere.

Its not THAT bad for a first generation guy, very similiar to my WR i retired last season...well i needed the flex...

Currently you have no way to get open, can't outrun, can't shake opponent with fakes...

Agility and head fake will help getting open a bit...i'm a huge fan of quick cut/change direction...

Nah, he has plenty of speed to get open for a balanced receiver and his respectable, though not mind-blowing, stats for the season confirm that. He's getting enough looks so as not to be wasting a spot on the DC.

With only a season left to add skill points, build to his existing strengths. He'll never be a speedster or an elusive YAC guy. So dump any remaining points in his career in some combo of Catching/Jumping/Possession SAs. Perhaps get Agility to the 68 cap first, if ya want to.
