IT'S GO TIME
These 2 teams were my pre-season top two in the West and they are playing for the Silver trophy. Two of the top teams in all of GLB and this should be a hell of a game
1. Washington Wolfpack V 3. Monmouth Evil Monkeys. The Pack did some serious work in round one. Led offensively by the usual awesome ground attack from the tandem of Parltow and Street and this time they got a solid bit of help from the air attack. WW had a nice 27-7 half time lead and after a solid SDL rally in the third stepped it back up in the final quarter to seal the deal. Washington's pass D was outstanding but their rushing Defense was exposed by some huge plays by Goddard that kept the lightning in the game.
Monmouth's D had there second straight game in these playoffs without allowing a TD. They crushed the HHW running game and made Stuart Wang look like a season 6 version of Stuart Wang. Offensively the Evil Monkeys had issues but they were able to score off of the Cannes mistakes and a big play by THE NATURAL. Winning the turnover battle was huge in this one as it will be in the title game.
These are the two best teams in the West and they matchup very well. They both have oustanding backfields and some of the best O lines in GLB. Both Defensives have proven that they can shut down any team they face. This should be a truely great game and who ever makes the fewest mistakes should end up as champion
