<insert bad pun about pheonix rising from ashses here>

After a lot of careful thought and planning, the Vaadwaur Phoenix have decided to undergo an overhaul of their ownership and coaching staff. Most of the team's coaches have been together since season 3, fighting their way out of AAA and into Eastern Europe Pro. However, up until this point, Vaadwaur has best been known for their strange name and as "That team that beat Prague in Season 7."

However, despite their penchant for upsetting teams that out-match them, Vaadwaur has consistently fallen out of the playoffs early or, like this season, missed the playoffs entirely, having only won 1 playoff game since entering the Pro Leagues. The team has steadily improved over the seasons, but has now decided that a change was in order.

Scrody, the owner of Vaadwaur since Season 1, will be stepping down as owner of the Phoenix and taking a position as a team consultant. The current Defensive Coordinator and Head Recruiter, Himura, will be taking over the team.

Additionally, r8, Vaadwaur's Offensive Coordinator since Season 2, will be retiring from coaching altogether. He will actually be moving up into a larger role, taking charge of Public Relations for the network of teams of which Vaadwaur is the flagship of. Taking his place will be a relative newcomer to the Pro Leagues, burn_209. Previously of the Casablanca Sultans, Burn proved his worth with a stellar AAA campaign before moving up to the Pro Leagues. When the defense started to fail, the owner cleaned house of his GMs, and Vaadwaur was there to snap him up quickly. The Phoenix are excited to bring in a new coordinator with such a high level of potential, and expect great things from him very soon.

In addition to the coaching changes Vaadwaur has also been hot on the recruiting trail, already landing prospects to upgrade the team at 2 key positions, and are on the finalist lists for many others. Season 10 looks to be a very promising season for the Phoenix, and the excitement around the team is building.

VAAAAAAAAAAAAAADWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!

Things are definitely moving in the right direction, some new blood at the top and throughout the roster should have the Phoenix playing for a title in no time. Season 10 and beyond are looking bright for Vaadwaur.

Hey we even beat the Phoenix in PRO leagues before we were the only team demoted DURING the season by Bort himself.

This is not about what the PHX did or didn't do in the past; it's about what they're about to do next season:

Kick ass, wrack up W's, and take home the Gold.
