I am a big Bears fan and obviously am thrilled to have Jay Cutler. I think there are some Bears fans around here. I know Kron is one for sure. Use this thread for discussion and links for your Chicago Bears and our boy Jay Cutler

"You're worried about our wide receivers a little bit? Let me put you at ease," Cutler said, before explaining how the Broncos' Brandon Marshall and Eddie Royal were relative unknowns before their arrival in Denver. "Receiving-wise, we've got what we need here. You don't need to worry about it."

Yep exactly. Marshall and Royal were unknowns. Who knows Rasheed could go for 90 catches, 1300 yards and 12 TD next year. Anything is possible with a stud QB.

I also think Greg Olsen will be a top 3 TE this upcoming season. If he stays healthy he is a BEAST

Also it was really disappointing when we didn't get Torry Holt. It seemed like a no brainer to me. He has lost a step, but could have had a great season imo.

Holt wanted that warm weather. Which is understandable at his age.

EDIT: and Olsen is going to be Cutler's go to guy. Olsen will have a big year.

Olsen is sleeping it cutler's guest room don't you know.

Obviously like 40% of the Chicago Hedgehogs are all Bears fans. I can't wait for the season. Put Bennet and Olsen down for 100 catches each please.

LOL, don't you just love optimism! Royal wasn't an "unknown", he was a 2nd round pick last year, so obviously he wasn't an "unknown". As for Marshall, it remains to be seen how he'll do without Cutler and Cutler without him(and the Broncos OL).

I am happy the Bears didn't get Holt, I mean not super happy he's going to be on the Jags because I was hoping he'd have a last hurrah before he retired but at least he's not catching passes from an arrogant prick.

oh and no 2nd round pick is expected to come in and have the success that royal did, otherwise he woulda been a first rounder so yeah he was an unknown

EDIT: and Marshall had iirc, 7 career receptions before Cutler

let's see orton put that ball in the same places that cutler did

doubt it lol
