apparently 96.3 str and 67.7 tackling means you can make one tackle and miss 6 tackles out of 7 opportunities.

It depends. If you are on power behind the line of scrimmage, it's true. If you are after trying to make tackles after scrimmage line, the % reduce drastically. VAs are cool, ain't them?

still, behind the line of scrimmage you just won't make tackles at all, except you're hell lucky or not facing a smart back tbh.

Edit note: Not trying to say I agree it should be this way. However, It's definitely working as intented.

At least you're getting to the ball carrier seven times, can't say the same for my DE. Big ol' goose egg in half his games.

If a defensive player has 96 str and 67.7 tackling, 6 missed tackles out of 7 opportunities is just plain stupid, not matter what VAs are in place (and yeah I have some sure tackler as well - not as much as I need, but enough where it should have made some difference - may be thats why my guy got at least one tackle)

Seriously this game gets more monty pythonesque every day.

2) most of these missed tackles were not behind the line of scrimmage, they were on the defense

well, when your the 3rd player to get to him because of other missed tackles it kinda ups your opportunities...

i have less str/tack than you and have missed maybe 6-7 all year (4 in one game on power)

i guess builds dont mean anything, eh?

Same for my LB, and he plays on power. Hidden stats ftw!

Why do I play this game?

yeah, pretty much seals the deal on me killing more players off for flex again this season. That will make it 4 seasons in a row without buying flex.
