Updating the playoff picture:
1. Rhode Island Red Wolves - 12-2. I'm elevating myself to #1 after the win vs. the Pirates. The last test for the Red Wolves will be Flathead, and it will be a major one for both teams. But it's hard to argue that anyone is playing better than the Wolves right now.
2. Cochabamba Pirates - 12-2. Loss to RIRW was revealing. Next week comes the renamed Chin Kickers, and I like the Chin Kickers to give the Pirates their second straight loss.
3. Kung Fu Fighting Chin Kickers - 13-3. If they had beaten either Orlando team they likely would have a legit shot at the #1 seed. As it stands, they'll have to settle for beating the Pirates to knock them out of first and a home playoff game.
4. Indianapolis Thunderhawks - 13-3. Dominating win vs. Ohio Valley and two cupcakes to finish the season locks up the final home playoff birth for the Thunderhawks.
5. Liberty City Cocks - 12-4. Solid team without a challenge in the season's final two weeks.
6. Orlando Outlaws - 10-6. Won the games it needed to early. A likely loss to Flathead next week won't matter as they'll take care of Cybertron in the finale.
7. Flathead Just Go Krazy - 9-7. Should take care of the Outlaws next week before RIRW in the last game, which should be a good one.
8. Orlando Pirates - 9-7. A win vs. the Hawks steals their playoff seed before losing to the other Pirates in the season finale, setting up a USA PRO rematch with the RIRW in Round 1.
SEASON ON THE LINE:
9. New York Hawks - 9-7. A 3 point loss to Flathead will likely knock the out of the playoffs. EVERYTHING rides on next week's game vs. Orlando Pirates. Win and they are in, lose and they are out.
10. Ohio Valley Vultures - 8-8. An early season win vs. Flathead is keeping them a longshot for the playoffs. They must win vs. New York in the finale, and if they do, they have an outside of knocking Flathead out should Flathead lose to RIRW. It's a long shot, but possible.
Everyone else will look to dominate this league next season after all of the above are promoted to A.
