All equip in speed.
AEQ is "dive tackle", +1 AGI (fully upgraded with +4 speed)....not sure if that's worth a dam, but I figure its something to tide him over.

Speed is currently at 56 natural. After soft capping tackling I'll get that to 60.

So then I'm thinking train Stamina/Confidence??

Thoughts or advice/criticism??? I can take it.

I would get speed and agility up first, then worry about tackling later. Looking good though.

I disagree, set your tackling up at a higher level or else you will miss a lot of tackles, the LB i have is named defensive MVP- Ivan Silver...i set my tackling high as well as strength, and he VERY rarely misses a tackle. 14 tackles in one game...all due to high tackle skill, and setting my tactics to "wrap-up" tackling as opposed to "force-tackle" for fumbles. lots of missed tackles when you try to strip constanlty. he has reasonable speed though too, but i woudnt focus on that much unless you plan on pass rushing a lot...sacks are cool and all, but when you miss that sack/tackle and leave your zone....thats a good first down at least. many teams use misdirection runs, so if you dont have your vision(awareness) high as well, there will always be a team to utilize the fake and do just that, fake you out cause he cant adjust fast enough to stop the run. and if your secondary is covering a pass and a draw run happens...another first down, or even a touchdown in the redzone...unless the hb is full of speed and agility enough to get around them. leave the speed to the wr's and hb's....strength-tackling-agility-vision...then speed. plus, if you put your tactics to "play at harder level, at the cost of more energy use" i promise youll get 14-20 tackles in one game as well. IVAN SILVER-DEFENSIVE MVP...WOOT!

OH MY GOD, 14 TACKLES IN ONE GAME? YOU ARE A LINEBACKER GOD. CAN YOU TELL ME YOUR SECRETS? PLEASE?

Oh... wait. You mean you're in the D-leagues playing 99 plays per game? Oh.

Low tackling, low strength but high everything else produces...

http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=579445

26 tackles, 5 TFL, 1 FF, 1 INT, 1 Safety in the first two rounds of the playoffs. Even then, lol BBB and lol at how many times he gets pancaked... but my point is you don't need to have your tackling very high at all at low levels.

If you are that high in str/Tck you better groom him for a run stuffing MLB. Those D-league stats are always nice to look at, especially with the above mention 99 plays a game. But as you get playing the higher levels with more then only 3 LB on the team you are not going to get near those numbers or plays on winning teams. Lets say your on a good rotating type team(common) and you get roughly 35 plays a game. Id rather have the opportunity (speed/agil/vision) to make 15-20 tackles then in your case with all the Str/Tck LB who will only be able to react to the runs up the middle, say 10 opportunities. you will have no opportunities to stop outside runs, most catching T.E's and may even get faked out more by those pesky elusive backs. So all in all what Blamo is saying is correct.Get the spd/agl up there 1st. str/tck will come in due time.

P.S Just my humble opinion

Well I must say. I don't completely disagree with your thinking. I would however like to point out my S.S. has 49 tackling and had over 100 tackles, but missed about 18. He plays on Power tackling every single game though, SO I don't sweat it.

IF is set him on wrap up I don't think he would miss at all, but that's not how I roll. I want to knock the snot out of people with 70 str. I am not stopping at 49 tackling. I just don't really feel a pressing need to raise it past 49. (yet).

This is why I say tackling isn't needed till later. After your speed agility and vision are high enough to get you there.
But I am sure linebackers are a different story.
